Our petition was not expedited. We were just fortunate that it took a little over 4 months for approval. Our petition was just sent to the NVC yesterday, nearly 2 weeks after the approval. If you filed around the same time we did and haven't received your approval yet, just hang tight. It's coming soon - :dancing:

I just got my welcome letter yesterday!!!

The date on it was March 22th, so yours must be just around the corner!!??

i got my physical copy of NOA2 on 28th march 2016.i had got my acceptance mail on 21st march.what would be the next procedure.when should i get my case number ?

Called the NVC today to see if they received our petition from Nebraska since it was sent to them on 3-22. They received it on 3-28 and told me it could be approximately 42 days before a case # would be assigned. I plan on calling them back in a couple weeks to see if a case # has been assigned yet. Everyone who is still waiting on approval, it's coming. Patience is a virtue, and not one of my strongest virtues that's for sure.

Finally got the approval!!! :) so excited!! I can't even think straight!!!

So now how long do we wait before checking if nvc has received the case? What are the next steps?

Hi! Well I signed up for the email and text message updates, so as soon as they approved my husband's case I got an email and text message at the same time. I'm not sure when I'll recieve the physical NOA2 but i'll be sure to post when I actually get it in the mail. :)
