Okay, sorry to hear that but dont worry its small mistakes we did and that caused to the RFE.

I met with a lawyer and showed both documents. I had the copy what i filed. And he told me to do following changes:

Please note that I am the petitioner and my wife is the beneficiary.

at Part 1 you should put the petitioner name and check the box 1.a. if you have only one person sponsoring you.

at part 2 2.a. you should put in care of "petitioners name" instead of principal immigrants name ( in that box beofre i put my wife's name too (she is the principal immigrant)

at part 2 question 5 you can fill the A number since the receipts should have one already.

at part 4 questions 4.a. to 4.h. you should put the address again even though you answered to the question 3; YES. i have been told not to leave empty. I left it empty.

at part 5 question 8 should show "2" if you and your spouse is in the family. If you are only 2 person. By mistake i put my wife twice and it ended up "3" at question 8. You may not have that mistake.

at part 6 question 2 you should put the amount your sponsor did so far. you can get that sum from his/her last paycheck. its not the 2014 amount in the tax returns. its the amount he/she did so far.

at part 6 question 15 you should put the same amount you put on part 6 question 2.

at part 6 question 19a/b/c suggest to put all three years and we have to put last years (2014) w2 or 1099 and last 4 paystubs and lawyer asked me to give bank statement showing that i deposited the amounts.

after you finish the form make sure the petitioner signs it with the date.

lawyer asked me to write foll cover letter and put the yellow letter on top and send it. Hope aboe/below infos are going to help.

I think depend on the people who sent the forms.

Even me I sent forms 11/5,they recieved my forms 11/9,but I got NOA emails/text 11/23...

Then I got NOA letters 11/27.

I got biometrics letter 12/7.

I've done bio 12/15.

My process is little bit slow...but other people who sent the forms same day as me is faster than me .the other people is more slower than me.

I can't say exactly answer.

Why don't you update your profile???

We would know your process and might be someone could advice to you ✨

So. I went to USCIS in milwaukee today, which was 2 pm. it's a 1-hour ride. when I got there, with my passport and the appointment letter, they told me that they couldnt get my fingerprints bc in my passport i have my maiden name and the letter is with my married name, so i need the marriage certificate to prove im the same person. so now, i have to reschedule the appointment. great.... im so pissed off. i waited for this day so much, and now, i have to wait more. i need to get the EAD as soon as possible and start working. it really put me down i even cried after i walked out the building.

Same thing happened to me when I went to get mine done on Nov 25th, I had meant to grab my marriage certificate before I left, but forgot! However, I was asked some questions by the overseeing officer there that day, and he let me get my fingerprints anyway.

My biggest beef is that they don't mention it anywhere in the letter and then act like you're the idiot for forgetting it! I was just so thankful I didn't have to make the drive again another day!
