ok thanks, i didn't know, i see a lot of people are using abbreviations that i have no idea what they mean, anyway they got my package on the 15 November, i hope soon to get this letter about the biometrics

I was able to do a walk-in to get my biometrics done yesterday. Literally took less than 10 minutes. I was scared that they wouldn't let me do it, specially since I walked in 20 minutes before they closed, and no one else was there, they could of easily turned me away but they were kind enough to it done for me. So glad!! Now back to waiting and praying!!

How many text messages do you receive. My husband came on K1 visa we got married and I applied for green card, work authorization, and travel but I got two email and two text messages. Also, only two letters now I am worried.

I'm applying AOS from F1 Visa.

I received 4 NOA letters .

One of them is that USCIS revived our money.

Three of them are that USCIS recieved each forms.

Which NOA of forms did you get??

I receives notifications for I485&I765 after I made that post I received a letter saying they rejected my I-131 for incorrect payment and outdated application version.

I only received 2 texts and 2 emails at the very beginning. I-130 & I-485. I signed up to follow my case but it hasn't been updated either. I wish it would so I can know if an RFE is coming!

Got a message this morning we got a RFE. I was somewhat expecting it was I did file taxes for 2012 and 2013. I was hoping I was wrong but I will wait for the letter.

Hello to all,

on december 4th i got a mail and when i opened it up it was a finger print appointment notice for dec 2nd Our mailman changed and the new one didnt deliver the mail due to name not on the mailbox and sent it back but somehow mail came back from us post office without going back to immigration office.

I called customer service and they told me just sned the notice paper to the address on the paper to request new appointment date. i did. i went to ups and gave the envelope for overnight shipping. After that i started search on immigration forums if anyone faced for similar situation and i found out there are couple cases similar to mine. and what they did is even they missed the date they still went in next morning and mostly immigration officers hep them out. I immediately called my ups store and told to the guy hold the envelope and luckily he did.

Today december 7th we walked in and explained the situation. Just be honest to them and tell the truth and they help if they can for sure. Since its only couple days late they let me give my fingerprints.

Just reading these forums maybe saved me another month on this journey. Thanks to everyone who shares their cases which helps a lot.

Now i am waiting for the RFE notice and see what was missing.

2015 11 04: AOS package received and signed

2015 11 16: NOA's (4x) received by USPS

2015 12 02: RFE request sent notice appeared on online case status screen

2015 12 04: Biometrics appointment received for dec 2nd (delayed due to USPS)

2015 12 07: Biometrics done (late walk in)

finally got the RFE letter today. I appreciate for your help.

its saying following 2 items:

1- form i864 was submitted however page 3, part 4 of the petitioner/sponsor's form i 864 list someone other than the petitioner/sponsor or page 3, part 4 is blank

2- form i864 was submitted from a joint sponsor however the names listed on page 1 and page 3 are not the same.

When i checked page 3, i realized i left empty from 4 a to 4 h and the reason is on question no 3 same page i checked the YES box. and it is saying (if you answered "no" to Item number 3 provide your physical address below.) so shouldnt i leave the box empty from 4a to 4h?

on the second issue i am totally lost because my husband is sponsoring to me and on page 1 , part 1 includes his name (we typed his name there) and we checked the box 1.a. and part 2 is my details as an information about the principal immigrant. when i check page 3 part 4 which is information about your sponsor section ( my husband) part 4 1. and 1.b is his name and last name.

Plus we dont have a joint sponsor at all. my husband is sponsoring me

So i am totally lost here and appreciate for your help. thank you.

The day is 12/15 2:00pm.

11/5 filled

11/9 USCIS relieved our forms

11/23 got 4 text/mails

11/27 got 4 NOAs

12/7 got a biometrics app letter

My case is slow but seemed to be well process.

To me it looks like they're giving you 2 options and saying it's either the first or the second that is the case since both #1 and #2 are talking about names, but I'm not sure. Hopefully that helps a bit!

our biometrics appointment is tmr morning, but just received RFE notice from email.

wondering whats the percentage to recieve RFE ?

will share our case once we get the letter.
