Happy New Year everyone.

Just some information of my experience so far.

Adjusting from K1.

Nov 3rd - NOA1

Nov 23rd - biometrics

Then, like most, I checked the USCIS site and app everyday hoping to see some update. It continuously kept the NOA dates for all 3 forms (I-485, I-765, I-131). Even when I got the biometrics letter appointment - no change to the information displayed on USCIS.

I was waiting for the status to change to - 'waiting to schedule interview', but I received an appointment letter for my green card interview in the mail on Dec 28th. The next day I received a text and my USCIS site info updated to say 'interview has been scheduled'. (interview - end of Jan)

To be aware you need the letter - it has all the info on. The website and app literally only tell you an update has happened (you get the interview date but not the time or what documentation etc to take, interview address etc..) And you need to take the letter with you. So if you get an update keep an eye out for the letter around the same time.

I was hoping I'd be one of the lucky ones who would bypass an interview, but seems not so. To be fair I can't complain - speed so far - including Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays - it has been a reasonable and expected timeframe.

So far no update on my EAD or AP - looking at processing times it seems that EAD, AP and Green card would be very similar time frames (if all goes to plan), so possibly EAD and AP might be bypassed and go straight to Green card.

Hope this helps someone - I know sometimes it feels like everyone else is progressing and not you! But it will happen!

11/17/2015 - AOS Package[ I-130/I-485/I-765/I-131] sent by USPS express to USICS Chicago PO Box[ Finally!! ]

11/18/2015 Delivered and Signed by R Mercado.

11/24/2015​ - Received 4 texts/mails stating "Your case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing" with different MSC receipt numbers

11/25/2015 - Checks $420/$1070 cashed

12/21/2015 - Biometrics taken - early walk-in at 10:45 for 11 done by 11:10 AM.

01/22/2015 - I-485 status updated with " Interview has been scheduled "

​02/18/2015 - Received EAD card and few days before approval notice [ I-797 ] for I-765

​02/25/2015 12:45 PM ET - Petition approved. :dancing:

11/25/2015 + -> Reminder to work on removing condition.

No updates for us. Went for the Biometrics on 12/30.

Our I-485 case was updated on 12/31 that they received our response for our RFE.

Hello everyone, I have got another biomentrics appointment letter about the I-485, so I went to the local USCIS office AGAIN to get my fingerprints AGAIN...It's crazy:D I already did it on 21th Dec, but that was related to the EAD (we sent the whole package together, but we have got an RFE about the I-485)... Has anyone else had the same experience?

2015-04-03: I-129F sent

2015-04-06: I-129F received

2015-04-15: NOA1 received

2015-05-21: RFE message received by email and text

2015-05-26: RFE hardcopy received

2015-05-27: RFE sent

2015-05-28: RFE received by CSC, status updated on USCIS website

Happy New Year everyone!

I'm just joining this forum after filing for AOS, EAD and AP on 16th November. NOA1 was issued on the 19th November and I had my biometrics on 15th December 2015. To date no new updates from USCIS. I love the app, feels good to know I can just check that rather than logging into the USCIS website every time, which I did for the K1.

I applied for my temporary Social Security Card and Massachusetts ID back in November with no issues.

Wishing everyone the best of luck. I have a friend who is going through the same process, she applied a couple months before me and received her EAD and AP in three months. Here's hoping we all have a similar experience!

K1 Application Process
20th November 2014: Form I-29f sent recorded delivery to USCIS Lockbox
1st December 2014: USCIS received I-29f and sent application to Texas Service Centre for processing (confirmation email and text sent to petitioner on 4th December 2014)
7th January 2014: No sign of NOA1 receipt. My fiancé (the petitioner) contacted USCIS and was told they would send out a new receipt.
27th May 2015: Confirmation on USCIS website that case was approved. Waiting for formal NOA2. 177 days since application.
21st June 2015: U.S. Embassy in London received pack.
3rd August 2015: Medical completed and completed Notification of Applicant Readiness form.
19th August 2015: Letter received from U.S. Embassy in London with interview date: 14th September 2015. 287 days since I-129F September 2015: K1 Visa approved!
17th October 2015: Married!

Adjustment of Status (AOS) Process
16th November 2015: Filed AOS paperwork along with Employment Authorization Document (EAD) and Advanced Parole (AP) requests.
19th November 2015: NOA1 received.
15th December 2015: Attended biometrics appointment.
2nd February 2016: Completed electronic service request for EAD. System wouldn't let me complete one for AP.
3rd February 2016: Received electronic notification via the USCIS app that my EAD was approved. AP case status never changed from "Application was received".
8th February 2016: Received NOA I-797 for EAD AND AP.
10th February 2016: Received EAD/AP combo card. Delivered by USPS with regular mail, no signature required.

27th June 2016: Received Green Card.

Hi everyone - Just joined up here.

We sent our AOS docs in 11/25/2015, and all went smoothly. Received the Texts that all were received.

Biometrics Letter was received, and Biometrics completed 12/22/2015.

Now I guess it's a sit and wait process....always the worst part of this process.

Hope things go smoothly for everyone!

Still no updates or letter.

But now I'm super nervous because our new mail person deliver the wrong mail to us last week!

I really hope it was a one time thing and that we didn't miss anything important! ?

Just yesterday recieved interview notice in mail and on app to appear in the first week of feb. Looks like we may skip the ead/ap stuff and straight to gc. No comolaints about having interview because of how fast its all been.
