NVC processing times now down to 20 Days?

Timeline

This varies. We saw some 16, 17, 20, and 21 day reviews but that seemed to end on 9/4, then saw a 21 day review recently. I think mine was 25 days.

Wow, that's crazy!

Our initial review took exactly 30 days. We have been at NVC since mid-March and coming up on the 90 day mark for a supervisor review that supposedly shouldn't take longer than 45 days. I f-ing HATE inefficient, incompetent bloody NVC... :ranting:

March 28th 2015 - Choice of agent complete & AOS fee paid


April 17th 2015 - IV fee paid


May 1st 2015 - Sent in IV application


May 12th 2015 - Sent in AOS and IV documents


May 18th 2015 - Scan Date


June 18th 2015 - Checklist received


June 22nd 2015 - Checklist response sent to NVC


June 25th 2015 - Put for Supervisor Review


Sept 15th 2015 - Request help from Texas US Senator Cornyn and his team


Sept 23rd 2015 - Our case is moved from supervisor review to NVC's team for dealing with Senator requests


Nov 4th 2015 - CASE COMPLETE!!!! :dancing:



Embassy Stage


Dec 16th 2015 - Medical exam


Dec 21st 2015 - Interview


Dec 21st 2015 - 221(g) issued at interview for updated forms


Jan 13th 2016 - Mailed our reply to the 221(g) to the US Embassy, received and CEAC updated the next morning


Jan 20th 2016 - Embassy require more in-depth info on asset for i-864


Feb 1st 2016 - Sent more in-depth info on assets as requested. Received the next morning


Feb 16th 2016 - Visa has been issued :dancing: :dancing: :dancing: :dancing: :dancing:



In the US


April 5th 2016 - POE Newark. No questions asked.


April 14th 2016 - SSN received


May 10th 2016 - First day at my new job :dancing:


May 27th 2016 - Green Card received


June 7th 2016 - Got my Texas driver's license

I just got off the phone with NVC and the rep told me I should wait 45 instead of 30 days for them to process my documents. He said the the 30 days on the website is 45 in their system. :(

I just got off the phone with NVC and the rep told me I should wait 45 instead of 30 days for them to process my documents. He said the the 30 days on the website is 45 in their system. :(

They trend is back for shorter document reviews based on the timeline of others. I don't know what the NVC rep is talking about, crazy stuff.

For our second case, we received a CC in exactly 20 days. The docs were submitted 08/28 and the CC was on 09/18.

For our other case though, DS-260 was submitted July 8 and we're still waiting for the CC...

My scan date is September 3, 2015, yet case not completed. I called yesterday and I was told to wait for 30 days. Please is there any person whose scan date is the same as mine or have later date but with a case completed status?

My scan date was September 4 i called yesterday also I was told I have to wait 30 from my scan date but I was also told they are reviewing my documents

shall I ask if your case is complete now. since I am from same country as you and exactly in same situation. it is more tan 2 month it is on review and still nothing. do you think that senator helped? so I can do the same.

8/10/2013 : NOA1 hard copy received

26/3/2015: Case Transfered to California

2/4/2015 : I-130 Approval

5/4/2015 : NOA2 Hard Copy received

23/4/2015 : NVC recieved the case

1/5/2015 : Case number and IIN assigned (Phone Call)

11/5/2015 : DS-261 Available and completed

27/5/2015 : Both fees were paid via post

28/5/2015 : AOS and IV package mailed to NVC

6/6/2015 : Scan date - Document received by NVC

5/7/2015 : DS-260 Available and completed

6/7/2015 : Checklist ( marriage certificate from another authority- i864 ( missing tax for 2014)

12/10/2015 : 2nd checklist: NVC lost the resident permit document and ask it again.
