I am 19 Female. My interview is scheduled for the day after my 20th birthday. My parents and siblings all live in trinidad. I do have family in the US who were born there and come to Trinidad and Tobago every year for carnival. I teach at a school for special children, which ironically people from the US Embassy in my country visited and donated I-pads to the children. My father is paying for the trip. Which will obviously be in the summer time when school is closed. I am very nervous about it because I am single and they seem to believe once your young and single your not coming back to your home country which is not what I intend to do.

So what do you guys think my chances are of actually getting my tourist visa. I do want to visit family while there but I also want to go to a book convention.

How much money do you have too pay if your visa is approved? And how do you pay, cash? Credit? Or bank draft?

Do we have to pay again, if the visa is approved?

You pay your visa before you fill up ds160. Approved or not by the end , you pay. We are paying $160' I think as of latest, Paying cash on local currency equivalent at the authorized bank.

It seems, citizens of some countries may be required to pay visa fee in addition to MRV, known as reciprocity.
