Hi guys . I need advice . Recently i gave birth , and i was thinking of getting nanny for my baby . I have a good friend from another country , we went to school together . She is currently unemployed ,she loves kids and I think she would be a good nanny to him . I would like to bring her to USA .Don't judge me ,or think i'm a bad mom,it's just I feel like a single mom most of the time even i'm married . My husband is a truck driver and I'm home alone most of the time with so much stuff to take care while he is on the road . Is there any way to bring her here ? Thank you .

Theoretically a H2b.

Could you find her a US boyfriend?

Tricky not impossible.

Dont know if a personal assistant (from a cultural aspect) would fly

but bringing a nanny over is really a thing of the past on an individual

basis , there are many nanny agencies now in the US

Thank you for your answer . I do know all that , it's just I don't feel comfortable leaving my baby with stranger , or let some stranger live with us .

Unfortunately not trusting a likely trained, experienced professional will not get your friend a visa. I don't quite get the mentality of not knowing the worker personally. We send our kids to school and seldom know their teachers personally.

As an aside and I do not know how much truck drivers are paid, did not think it was that much, how can you afford to pay for full time domestic help?

She wants to work, not visit.

It's different situation sending your kid to school , and having a person living in your house helping you with a newborn . I've seen a lot of videos what "trained and experienced professionals" are doing with kids not knowing there is camera in house . I was horrified ! :/
