Hi Everyone!

I was wondering if anybody received any notification after sending all the documents to NVC? Anything saying that they received it before the case complete? I sent my documents almost 2 months ago and I'm not even sure if they received my package or it got lost somewhere on the mail.......I've been trying to call and reach NVC everyday but an automated massage comes up and they hang up. Their email system doesn't look like it's working either, since I sent so many emails to them but haven't heard anything from there either.

Thank you so much for any replies!

Good Luck to everyone on this frustrating process!

Just redial until you hear the rings before the message then go through the menu and it should put you on hold.

It's always a good idea to send important papers like that through registered mail, then you log into a website and can see the exact date and time the papers were accepted. That way you know that NVC got your papers. Normally you also get an email from NVC about a week later with your scan date. The scan date shows that your papers have been scanned into their system and that's also the date the "review clock" starts ticking, aka the 30 days.

I haven't gotten any replies on our emails either, I just figured they were ignoring my emails as they had no update but maybe they're still having a technical issue?!?!

When you call NVC, just hang up and redial until you get through. Yesterday, I called at 8 am their time and got through straight away. I was so shocked. :) But just keep on calling calling calling till you get through because two months without so much as a scan date email don't sound normal. I assume you've done the DS-261 and paid all the fees?!

Yes! We paid all the fees and filled out all the forms. And sent The Package to NVC. We have and agent in US helping us on our case. I haven't got the scan date or maybe my agent forgot to tell me. I will ask her right now.

And I'm gonna try calling and calling and calling. Hopefully i would get through.

Oh wow, how did you manage that?

Each time I call and ask to speak to a supervisor, NVC says none is available and tell me to be patient. They always seem in a hurry to get me off the phone.

We sent all over documents to NVC and we also got the email from NVC stating that they have received our documents and have been put under process. Regarding talking with NVC reps well for that you have to call them again and again till your call get through. Regarding case completion on the phone well I havent heard that one before because me and my wife both called NVC and requested them if they could review our case on the Phone but both time the rep said thats its not possible and that we have to wait till the completion of 30 days so yea its kinda frustrating to know there is no way for speeding up the process. But I hope NVC had received your documents.

I have called over and over, many times on hold 30-60 minutes. Each time NVC reps say our case is under review. As I've read a few other threads here to that effect, I've asked to have a supervisor review while I was on the phone. I keep getting the same, that they don't do that or it's not possible.

Then I read threads about others having success with what NVC tells me they dont do, then I wonder what NVC tells many of us!

I have read the threads over here thats why i was surprised to hear the answers of NVC reps both times because they said we have to wait both time and that documents cant be reviewed on the phone where as few of the folks telling they had success in reviewing their documents over the phone I dont know how they manage to do that. Immigration is a long process NVC should come up with some new ways for speeding up their reveiw time because wait is the biggest pain for all the applicants.
