  1. Hello everyone, I received case complete email from nvc on 15 march 2019 waiting for interview. Anyone have any idea how much time islamabad consulate takes on an average to schedule interview after case completion
  2. Hi guys, I am trying to get a good idea of who has already been scheduled for ghana for family based (no K-1 please) visa recently? Please reply and if you can, please let me know the Case Completion Date and the Visa Interview Date as well. Thank you all.

    GHANA

This is for IR1/CR-1 and/or IR2 Ghanaian members How long is it currently taking to have an appointment scheduled for interview in Ghana? Does anyone know the latest appointment that was schedule and when was the case complete for that person?
  4. Hi! my case was complete oct 11 of this year and I was looking to speak with other people going through nvc and case complete to interview for Rio. Currently I’m waiting for that .
  5. We got a case complete on Nov. 6th. About how long before they will schedule my husbands interview? Also, am I gonna receive an email giving me info about medicals, with the interview date, or should I start calling NVC on Monday?? Any info is much appreciated
  6. Hi CR/IR1 applicants, We have just received an email that our IR1 case at NVC is finished, and that the NVC will schedule our interview at Madrid Embassy. YAYYYYYYY!! I am thinking that it is POSSIBLE that the interview will be at the end of December (anyone know?)… but meanwhile I have a question about the pre-interview stage we are now in. Do we have to send documents via mail/courier to the Madrid embassy before the interview?? We are IR-1 - - is sending documents only for K-1 people? Is this Packet 3? I ask because I saw this: This page about the Madrid Embassy was written by people who had gone through the post-NVC stage recently, and a couple of people have written that they had to send their docs through snail mail before their interview, as “Madrid has changed their policies”... http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Spain&cty=Madrid However, nowhere on the .gov websites do I see instructions for that. I’m not sure if maybe this is only for K-1 visas?? The person who wrote that part did not indicate if it was for IR/CR-1. Then there’s this http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/536290-new-checklist-for-madrid-edited-title/ which talks about a checklist of items to mail to the embassy, and that it wasn’t the K-1 list but the list for IR/CR-1 applicants! HOWEVER... The PDF from the Madrid Embassy doesn’t talk about sending documents as a requirement: https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/iv-dv-supplemental/MDD - Madrid.pdf It only states “IF you need to send documents…” <<Sending documents to the U.S. Embassy Madrid, Spain If you need to send us any documents, please DO NOT mail them to us directly. Instead, visit ais.usvisa-info.com and ask for information on courier services. >> Etc. The Spanish US DOS Visa Appointment Service website does not address it either, https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-es/iv/information/iv_overview It only sends you to the travel .gov website re the Interview stage, which refers to BRINGING documents with you to the interview. https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/immigrant-process/interview/prepare.html I always thought that we will only BRING documents to the interview, but that VJ page has me very confused. (If that info is not applicable to everyone, I think it should be edited and labeled appropriately.) How do I know if we will have to send documents via snail mail/courier before the interview? I ask because we may not be in Spain to send them during the window of time before the interview. Sorry for the long post, and thanks!
  7. Hello , Me and my wife are currently waiting for case complete at NVC ( we had a few problems with two of our documents and we just resubmitted today. We are doing CEAC online processing.) Does anyone have any experience with the US Embassy in Athens? Of all the cases on here I can barely find any info about it, and it seems that there aren't many others on here going through the process who are from Greece. My questions would be; 1. How long from case complete to interview? Everyone tells me that Athens is very fast for scheduling interviews, and me and my wife need some peace of mind while we wait for the NVC to check our documents and close our case ( hoping it isn't more than a few days to a week). Our lawyer told us most likely we would receive an interview by early/mid October. I know that it is not the busiest of embassies, and even the NVC told me that there isn't much of a line there. 2. Anyone know what the interview is like in Athens( questions etc) ? 3. Is the US Embassy in Athens quick at issuing the visa ( as in how long after approval would you be allowed to enter the United States) or do you have to wait a few days to a week? Thank you to everyone on this forum.
  8. Our case was complete at NVC on June 26th. The email from nvc states that our case was approved for expedite and is now in Mumbai (ours is online CEAC app) . It said that Mumbai consulate will schedule our interview. Reading online visajourney I read that you must schedule your own interview in such a case. I wanted clarification so I emailed MUMBAI consulate helpdesk. They informed me that they dispatched packet 4 with instructions for beneficiary to postal address with instructions on what to do next for Mumbai to process his case. I am assuming this indicates that our interview will have to be scheduled by us. As CEAC is down for maintenance I am unable to log in and see if an interview was already assigned. All I can do now is wait to get the instructions via postal mail. Has anyone had experience scheduling their own interview through ustraveldocs? How was that experience? I was lookinh at available dates and it keeps giving me error message that there is no available dates. Help!
  9. Hey guys, anyone else on here waiting for an interview date in Guatemala? Alguien esta esperando un entrevista en Guatemala?
  10. Dear VJers, I am presently based in India. I am planning to join my former employer who has offered me employment again. Hence, I have opted for Consular Processing. I submitted Civil documents for me and my wife on 9th Mar 2018. My Scan Date is 9th Mar 2018 as confirmed by NVC. What is the approx. lead time for completion of documents review (although NVC often quotes 11 weeks)? Looking for hear about "case complete" soon!
  11. Hi All, just a quick question. We have submitted our financial and civil docs and did call to get SD but find out they haven't scan our financial docs yet and ask us to call again tomorrow. I am just worried that they got everything or they misplaced it as all our docs was in same envelope. Also i wanted to know what is the average time for NVC to review docs after SD to get CC. Thanks
  12. Anyone here have case complete email??? Can you please tell me how it's look like the cc email. Please send the format of attach file. Thank you
  13. Hi everyone. I need help with something. On the 26th of January, 2017.. I got CC with NVC and I was real ecstatic. However, I just received an email for checklist. The ONLY thing I am missing, according to them, is the w2 for 2016. It states on the email that they will still send a letter to both me and my spouse with interview date soon and to just bring the missing document to the interview. I was confused because I had already sent the w2 for 2016 along with he 1040 and I864 during the gathering of my AOS and IV packets. I called NVC and asked the man if there are more than ONE sheet of w2 form per year, he said no. I told him I had already submitted it and he just said to bring the w2 form, to the interview and there's no need to do another i864. Just bring w2 to interview. So does this mean I take the SAME w2 I submitted to nvc? Does it mean they lost it? Or are they indeed more w2 forms per year? Idk, he made me doubt it. Thanks for all the help. Good luck to you all!
  14. Hello everyone I finally got a case complete last week when I called the NVC on Friday and I was told the case was completed on 17th January. Scan Date - November 3 2017 RFE for birth certificate - December 14 Send birth certificate and received on - December 20 Case completed - January 17 Thanks.
  15. Did Anyone get interview date from Dhaka Embassy with January CC?
  16. Hi all, Yesterday my status changed to "AT NVC" and AOS disappeared from the CEAC website. I called NVC to confirm about case complete. They confirmed that my case is complete the review and will be forwarded to consulate in India and I will be getting an email once the interview has been scheduled. However, today I woke up and saw an email from NVC with Checklist cover letter saying this: ###################################### Page 1 ########################################## November 9, 2017 NVC Case Number: BMB1234567890 Dear PETITIONER'S NAME: We reviewed the documents you submitted to us. This letter has a list of documents that are missing or that need additional information. Please review the instructions on the attached pages. The instructions will ask you to either:  Send the missing or corrected items to the applicant so he or she can take them to the visa interview; or  Send the missing or corrected items to the National Visa Center (NVC) and include a copy of the Case Number Barcode Cover Sheet. Clearly write your case number BMB1234567890 on the upper right-hand corner of every document you send. After we receive and review the requested information, we will let you know the status of your case. For current processing times, please visit our website at nvc.state.gov/submit (English) or nvc.state.gov/enviar/espanol (Spanish). If you have any questions about this letter, please visit our website at nvc.state.gov/ask (English) or nvc.state.gov/ask/espanol (Spanish). If a period of one year passes without contacting the NVC (by email, telephone, or mail), all submitted fees and documents will expire. If this happens, you will need to resubmit the fees and documents to continue the immigration process. ###################################### Page 2 ########################################## National Visa Center Case Number Barcode Cover Sheet  You must use this cover sheet when you physically submit forms and supporting documents to the NVC. Place a legible copy of this form on the top of each submission and mail to this address: National Visa Center ATTN: DR 31 Rochester Avenue, Suite 100 Portsmouth, NH 03801-2914  Do not include any form of electronic media, including CDs and memory cards. If you send electronic media to the NVC, we will return it unopened.  Send photocopies of your civil documents (e.g., birth certificate). Send a copy of a signed Form I-864 Affidavit of Support(s).  Failure to use this cover sheet will delay processing of your visa application.  Use this cover sheet only for the case number indicated below. Information for any other case that you mail in the same package must include the cover sheet for that case.  Do not use this cover sheet if you are submitting forms and supporting documents by email. Instead, follow the directions under "Email processing" on http://nvc.state.gov/submit for English or http://nvc.state.gov/enviar/espanol for Spanish. ###################################### Page 3 ########################################## INSTRUCTIONS FOR: BENEFICIARY'S NAME ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ______AUSTRALIA POLICE CERTIFICATE:________________________________ Police Certificates - All Australia Available Fees: Refer to the Australian Federal Police (AFP) website for the current fee Document Name: National Police Certificate Issuing Authority: Australian Federal Police Procedure for Obtaining: Follow instructions on the Australian Federal Police (AFP) website. National Police Certificates based on fingerprints are preferred, but a certificate not based on fingerprints is acceptable if it shows all aliases ever used. When applying for the certificate, indicate that it is "for immigration purpose" and must be "full disclosure". Applicants who are required to provide an Australian police certificate should present it at the time of interview or request that it be sent directly to the Consulate where they will apply. Police certificates are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. ###################################################################################### I am confused about exactly what they are asking me. I already sent them Australian Police Clearance for my with along with Indian Police Clearance certificate with my IV packet. I am confused since they already verbally confirmed case complete, are they asking my wife to bring the Australian Police Clearance to the interview? Has anyone ever gotten similar email? or does anyone know what this really means. I am really hoping that they just want my wife to bring the PCC to the interview (she was already gonna do that anyway). I tried calling NVC today, but they are closed for a Federal Holiday (Veterans Day). I will try to contact them on Monday now, but in the mean time just thought to ask fellow applicants. Thank you in advance! PSON
  17. Hi vj members! It has been 24days since I got the letter re: reciept of documents (case completed), but until now i havent received an eligibility letter for my visa interview. Does the Manila consulate usually take almost a month to give a slot for the visa interview? Thank you!
  18. Hello everyone! I already got an email from NVC that they have recieved all the required documents for my visa case and that Im already in queue for the interview appointment, however when I checked my visa status on CEAC it says that it's still at NVC. Isn't it supposed to say CASE COMPLETE since it's already done? Or does it usually take several days for it to finally change to CASE COMPLETE? Hope you guys can enlighten me. Thanks!
  19. Hello.. I have a question for my sister. I remember 3 years ago you when I applied for my husband, you could tell that the case is complete by the 3 N/A's on ceac website. Is there any way we can tell now if someone has a case complete without calling them? Her scan date is august 15. Thanks in advance
