Congrats..I suggest he wait till Friday so that his data will be updated in the save system. So that he will not have to wait for long to get his ssn. If he goes now the ss office might tell him to wait for 2 to 4 weeks till they get approval from uscis.

Oh no, I just saw this message! We literally just came in from SSA, would they have told us right then that we needed to wait, or since they still took our application, it will just delay the actual time we get the card?

They won't tell you to wait. They will take the application and wait till they get the confirmation from USCIS. You might get the card soon depending on when USCIS responds to them.

EAD/AP approved yesterday. :)

So happy..just got an update on my EAD 65 days after filing.

"On October 21, 2015, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSC1591552***, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go towww.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address".

Am so happy that I'm going to get it soon..seems my RFE dint delay my case because my I-485 is ready to be scheduled for interview.

Checked this morning and no change, but checked again this afternoon and this is what I found! Woo hoo! Congrats to all who have received this status, and for all who haven't it shouldn't be much longer for you! No text and no email, just a change on the USCIS website.

Have you had a notification that your petition has been approved? If not, I'd chase it up! I'm so impatient with everything but every time I've said I'm going to call something changes with my case and it progresses.
