Hi all! Just wanted to give a quick update and echo what others have already said - my husband's EAD was ordered on the 15th and we've seen all subsequent updates (case was approved, card was mailed) all by checking the USCIS website. He hasn't received any text or email about the updates, we just compulsively check the USCIS website! :)

New Card Is Being Produced

On October 17, 2015, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSC1591xxxxxx, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Finally my EAD went into production. i didn't received any email or text.

Congrats..I suggest he wait till Friday so that his data will be updated in the save system. So that he will not have to wait for long to get his ssn. If he goes now the ss office might tell him to wait for 2 to 4 weeks till they get approval from uscis.

I'm glad to hear your RFE didn't delay anything, that's good news for me as we have a pretty similar timeline. Though I had to delay my biometrics due to Sweden messing up my passport... But I'm still hopeful that I will hear something soon.

I'm hoping I receive my EAD/AP card in the next few days and that they update my online case to schedule an interview. My family are already over the moon that I might potentially be getting a flight home this side of Christmas, but I'm not promising anything until I have a better idea of when the interview might be!

I'm hoping I receive my EAD/AP card in the next few days and that they update my online case to schedule an interview. My family are already over the moon that I might potentially be getting a flight home this side of Christmas, but I'm not promising anything until I have a better idea of when the interview might be!

​Does anyone know if you can still get an RFE after you've been approved for the EAD/AP?

All files are worked on separately so you could get an RFE on the AOS. But the majority seem to be getting the RFE for AOS before even getting EAD/AP.

Just wanted to check and see if anyone had some insight. I knew the cases were worked on individually but wasn't entirely sure if the process for the EAP/AP would be like a cut and dry thing in relation to the AOS. Just gotta keep fingers crossed that the case changes to 'scheduled for interview' with no hiccoughs between. Thanks for the input Maria!

You EAD Card will arrive soon. The interview might be in November or December. Hopefully we receive the interview notice soon. Yea you can still get RFE...even on the interview day.
