yes you can, call NVC and you can add another email address or get them to remove an email address/name, dont try to do it on your own as that may cause delays. 603-334-0700 or 603-334-0888 option 2

We added my friend's email address to her case as the attorney was slacking in forwarding her the communications. now she gets a copy of all emails sent to the attorney.

Isn't the 0888, num for non immigrant visa cases?

Guys I have a question -

I received my case number and INN yesterday 08/12/2015 but CEAC doesn't recognize it.

MY QUESTION - Should I complete the DS-261 over the phone with an NVC Rep or should I wait for CEAC to update and do it online?

Anyone?

Well, I think it will take a day or two for you to be able to log in. If not, then just call the NVC and get it done with them.

I was able to log in the very next day that they assigned us a case number. So if you don't want to wait, try calling the NVC. If they ask you to wait, then wait. If they do the form for you over the phone then do that. What do you have to lose? So maybe give them a call tomorrow if you still aren't able log in.

Hope that helped.

Your I-130 was approved in record time.

Thanks.....It sure was.....praying for all of us.

Thank you and same to you.

welcome back and good luck.

photocopy is probably fine for the form, but i think they require original signature on both i-864 and i-864a or you may get a checklist, they probably treat each individual case seperately and cannot tally its the same form by same sponsor and co-sponsor. better safe than sorry.

Thank You I will do that. However new problem lol

Now when I tried one last time it doesn't give me that red error anymore instead it says this:

"Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please contact the National Visa Center if you believe that you have received this message in error."

Any ideas? I was able to pull up the processing fee's page (oviously not invoiced yet)

Note: if you're getting an error message ("Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time…" or "This case is in the process of termination. Fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted…" or "You cannot make online payments for your case at this time. Please contact the NVC if you have questions or need further information."), do NOT panic. This is actually good news! If you just got your case number, then this message means NVC is inputting your case in their system. If you get this message a few days after case number generation, then it's a good possibility that NVC is invoicing your AOS bill. And if this message appears a few days after DS-261 acceptance, then there's a good chance the IV bill is being invoiced.

I knew I had read that verbage somewhere! Thanks shkrz!

Well it's a good thing payment portal is finding it and case status is as well.

I wonder how long it would take for the DS-261 to generate. Fingers Crossed ...

Np. I believe it's faster if you can call NVC to submit DS-261 over the phone. If the customer service rep says that you've to submit it online, I'd call back again and try before submitting online.

You really think it's faster to do it over the phone?

The only downside is I won't have any confirmation of it and if they do it correctly.

Do they normally unlock the AOS fee quick if I do it over the phone?

So I was able to pay my IV fee today. I am very thankful.

For vajaster, I think you will soon have access to do your DS-261 and then you will receive your AOS fee in about 3-4 days.

If I should guess, by tomorrow you may be able to do you DS-261 and then recieve your AOS fee about Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.

I didn't do the choice of agent over the phone. If you chose to do it online, it would be good to call and confirm it maybe 3-4 days after submitting it.

I see activity on your end which is a good thing.

Interesting DS-261 became available!! Yayyy!!!

I was able to complete it!!

Weird thing is the IV Fee is open the link is clickable for "pay now" but the AOS isn't.

I know I have to wait for DS-261 to be reviewed before AOS is available but isn't that weird that IV fee is available to be paid.

SHOULD I pay it? Or wait for AOS fee to pay first?

That sounds good. Try clicking on that link, I suspect it will say 0.00. Try it though. I am of the thinking that whatever fee is available then go and pay it.

What happened with me is that after inputting my e-mail address in the DS-261 form they send me an e-mail when they invoiced me for the fees.

Isn't the 0888, num for non immigrant visa cases?

the 0888 number with option 2 is for immigrant visas. they shared it publicly during the technical issues and is still working :) and sometimes you get through that line bit faster.
