Hi, you can request your transcript online through IRS and it will comes within 5-10 days. I requested mine and it came in 2days here's the link it's pretty easy and convenient

http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript

Thanks for the advice (I'm sure it will help somebody :) ), but my problem was because I paper-filed and owed money to the IRS, I think. Apparently that meant that my transcript wouldn't be available until the end of June (I sent my checklist response in mid-June) and I didn't want to wait..not sure why my mail request still hasn't been answered, but I just checked the site and it's still showing that my 2014 transcripts aren't available, which might mean that I have another headache waiting for me with the IRS.

Just called NVC to know if our case is completed. The representative lady told me that we will have another checklist shortly for the police certificate. But we already received a checklist last month for the same police certificate. She told me that they don't have it. She also suggested me to send the police certificate before receiving the checklist.

I am really upset at this moment. Shall i believe on what she said? i have copies of the documents that i sent on our last checklist SD 29th June which includes the police certificate and also i have given the case number on every page.

any advice???

oh joy, i guess that's there message of the day. I was told about missing PCC today as well, this is after they said i have no checklist item other than ds-260. I am not going to send it for now, and talk to another rep or supervisor. ugh.

Congrats! We were on a similar situation, both unable to send the DS260. We sent ours on June 19th (two weeks or so before you) and nothing still :(

So all you have to wait for is the ds260 to be reviewed?

It WILL happen. Keep the faith.

I know it's hard, when you see people get CC sooner, even though you filled sooner. I know what it feels like. But do not let that get you down. Those negative feelings don't help.

Ofcourse still be happy for those who have CC but KNOW it will happen for you soon. 19 en 24th of June is not far apart. It shouldn't take long.

We met in 2002, dated and were torn apart in 2003and we reconnected end of 2013

So I called the NVC and they told me that my case just got scanned into the system yesterday and we'll have to wait s month before we're able to hear from them, regarding the instructions. Our case was sent to them on the 13/07. I am so upset about that whole month to hear from them. We have other things in life to think about other than immigration. Smh!

If God takes us to it, He'll bring us through it. He'll never take us where His grace cannot reach and keep us

Unfortunately, NVC wants a VALID passport. Sending a cancelled passport will only land you a checklist. And a PCC is required.

You can try sending without a valid passport and PCC and then request your case be closed and you'll bring the required documents to the interview, but no guarantee whatsoever that they'll let you.

Hi Saylin,

Thanks for your quick reply.

I am thinking to wait till august end to receive my new passport and PCC before i send the AOS and IV package. By then I will wait for IV fee to open up. I hope it will not pose a problem sending documents after I pay IV fee. I hear other VJ members sending both packages right after AOS fee shows paid and not waiting for IV fee to open up.

Yeah, it takes 30 days for them to review your documents. Well at least its 30 now, few months ago it took them 60 days to review documents...so they are processing faster now. Consider ourselves lucky ;)
