Oh well I guess this week didn't bring any luck to me, still no interview schedule I hope we make the cut for August before my baby celebrate her 2nd birthday. Anyone here knows how long it takes in my country to have schedules? I'm tired of waiting

update for the Canadians waiting for their approved visa: Montreal consulate released this - for us the red bit is relevant. Hopefully we will hear next week!

Resumption of Visa Services 26 June 2015

Visa Update: Visa processing has resumed at the U.S. Embassy and consulates in Canada. Interview appointments are now available. Some posts in Canada have openings as soon as June 26. To schedule an appointment, visit https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-ca/niv.

For those travelers whose interviews were cancelled during the systems outage: check your email for a message with instructions to reschedule your interview, or visit https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-ca/niv.

If you are waiting to receive your approved visa: we are currently working to eliminate the backlog of visas awaiting printing, and anticipate that we will be able to print the majority of visas by early next week. You will receive an email when your visa is ready to be picked up at the Loomis location you selected when you applied.

We deeply regret the inconvenience these technical problems have caused for travelers waiting for visas and are working hard to return to normal processing. Updates will continue to be posted here, and on the State Department website travel.state.gov.

Good morning,

Can someone please help me, my husband had has his interview on the June 9^th , and he put on AP. This morning I check someone had went on ceac look at it on June 21 and still on AP but the date had been changed 9 to 21^st . I don’t know what that mean is, anyone have any idea what this means or how long will take this AP to be clear out. They took his passport and all other documents. He got a yellow slip says no further action at this time consular will contact you. What is that mean.? Should I call the embassy, Please HELP!!

Dwheels i am not sure what is going with new delhi, but i do know of a friend of a friend who has interview there on july 12! and he got that date in june. they are not VJ member and i do not know further details, but i am just hoping the whole thing starts working soon. so much is riding on my hubby getting here at the moment. its a constant emotional roller coaster for our household right now.

Good Evening Dwheel-- Hope u are feeling better

Today went to my Medical Exam. 3 vaccination, Blood test and X-rays. They put a note back on my passport saying pick up my results on July 7th. It cost US$280.

Fingerspint on July 1st.

Today I received an Email from Santodomingovisa saying how to get ready for the interview and What I need to do, It says in my country it is recommended Petioner to show up at the interview. As hubby is coming that does not worry me jejejej

Yes but they get to pick their interview dates. Something just seems off. It's been too long for no one being selected for New Delhi.

I was told nvc makes the interview date and the one person on this forum from New Delhi from April 16 cc date had theirs scheduled by nvc. Maybe it's time to call the embassy and see what they say although I know what they will say....nvc will schedule the interview. Going on 56 days since cc and waiting for new Delhi is starting to create anxiety for me. I feel like it's going to be forever although I know it's not true.

This possibly could be a situation to involve a senator or congressperson. You never know maybe they can find out what the heck is going on here. Sure can't hurt.

dwheels last time i contacted the senator they really didn't do anything. i didn't even get a letter back from their case worker. I may just contact our local rep though as he may have more interest in the local constituents. lets see.
