Congrats to all aproved!

I feel like im the last October filer to get my interview...I dont go till October 28th. Seems so far away.

Met online in jan 2013 became exclusive Feb1

Met in person Sept/ Engaged in Oct 2013 never wanted to leave each other.

Returned to visit July 31 2014 till Oct 2014

started our K1 VISA process...October 2014

K1 noa1 Oct 6 Texas.....now the wait begins...to start our journey together.

NOA2 email notice Approval May 14/2015 yay!

interview oct 28th 2015!

VISA APPROVED!

Ahh! I had to call CBP myself and they helped. We had the wrong number. So we DO have an i94. We already sent in our AOS, too. Great! Now to yell at these people... Lol. Thanks guys! I appreciate it

Been a while since I checked this forum. It took the better part of 2 weeks to clear out my house and get rid of all my stuff (my god a person collects a lot of stuff). But finally October 1st I entered the country.

Next up the actual courthouse wedding, if either one of us feels any better, we both came down with the cold the next day

Oct. 03/2015 - NOA1

May 21/2015 - RFE

June 3/2015 - RFE Resp Sent

June 23/2015 - NOA2 (263 DAY WAIT!)

July 8/2015 - NVC Recieve

July 9/2015. -Number Assigned

July 13/2015 - Left NVC

July /2015 - Consulate Recieves

- Recieved Packet 3

- Sent Packet 3

- received Date for Interview

I had my interview today and was approved :-)

congrats!

it now says issued and I got an email today saying it is all done and to come and pick it up tomorrow :-)

I cant though, because of work, so will have to go a different day, but to celebrate I still booked a flight for mid-November.

tomorrow is our one year anniversary from our received date, so if I would have been able to go tomorrow it would be exactly one year from received-at-tsc to visa-in-hand. I´d have liked that, but hey, after a year, another few days are really not that bad :-D I might just barely be able to deal lol

10/13/2015 - Applied for Social Security Card
10/31/2015 - Wedding

11/09/2015 - AOS Package Mailed
11/12/2015 - AOS Package Delivered

11/13/2015 - Fingerprint fee for I-485 received

11/14/2015 - Social Security Card received in mail

11/16/2015 - Received 3 NOA text/emails at 11:25pm

11/21/2015 - Received 3 NOA in the mail (receipts dated 11/12/15)

11/27/2015 - Received Biometrics NOA in the mail

12/10/2015 - Biometrics appointment at 9:00am

01/26/2016 - Put in a service request online for EAD (75 days)

01/28/2016 - "assigned to an officer for response"

01/29/2016 - "your inquiry was completed"

02/01/2016 - I-765 & I-131 Approved (received text & email 02/02/16)

02/05/2016 - USCIS status change - EAD mailed w/tracking # (text & email)

02/08/2016 - USCIS status change - "On 02/04/2016, we mailed your new card" for EAD (text & email)

02/08/2016 - Received EAD/AP combo card in the mail (no status updates about AP except "approved")

03/16/2016 - Status changed for I-485 "Name was Updated" (received text & email 03/17/16 9:30am EST) (Never submitted a name change)

04/15/2016 - Called USCIS & Put in a Service Request online regarding "Name was Updated" status

04/15/2016 - Received email "On March 16, 2016 your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence was approved.We have reviewed our electronic records and found that your Permanent Resident Card (PRC) is already in production." (NO INTERVIEW)

05/05/2016 - Another online service request asking status of PRC

05/18/2016 - Received email saying file was in Sacramento, not Pittsburgh, and it was not approved yet. WHAT?!?!

05/20/2016 - Status changed online to "On May 16, 2016, we ordered your new card"

05/23/2016 - USCIS status change - "On 05/23/2016, we mailed your new card" (text & email)

05/24/2016 - USCIS status change - "On 05/24/2016, USPS picked up your new card" w/ tracking info (text & email)

05/26/2016 - Received card in mail

Not sure who's still following, but how is everyone?! I would like to think that all of us are here with our significant others now!! (Especially you mena!!) Hope you & your significant others are adjusting well!!

Santy & I had 2 wonderful weddings (apart from the courthouse one hahaha) and just got our green card NOA2! No interview, which is kind of weird, but I'm not complaining. :) The card is in the mail now! And Santy is going for a permit test on Monday, and my boss is helping him get a job! So things are pretty good with us, apart from it still being an adjustment to not be long distance hahah!

Hope you guys are all doing well!! Keep us posted!!!

K-1 Visa

♥ 10/2/14- I-129F form sent
♥ 10/3/14- USCIS received I-129F
♥ 10/7/14- NOA1
♥ 4/24/15- NOA2 [6.5 months; 199 days]
♥ 5/11/15- NVC received & case number assigned
♥ 5/13/15- NVC left
♥ 5/14/15- Consulate received & ready for interview
♥ 6/15/15- Interview- APPROVED!!

♥ 7/10/15- Visa in hand

♥ 7/11/15- POE

♥ 7/14/15- Marriage (Civil)

♥ 7/20/15- AOS/EAD/AP sent together

♥ 7/23/15- NOA1 for all 3

♥ 8/17/15- Biometrics

I am officially in the US now, and we were married on October 25th. It was a perfect day, and worth the wait for sure. It was a long almost year of waiting, but am blissfully happy now! We are waiting on our marriage certificates to do our AOS paperwork. We haven't been in a massive rush. Now that we finally have forever!

Glad to hear that your weddings went well, Allie!! Santy must be so happy to finally be able to do all of this, said you said before not being able to was getting to him.

I hope everyone else is finally settled in, married and happy!!

Yay MissPearls! So worth it in the end now that we're on the other side!! :) Congratulations and welcome officially!!

Yes, he's super happy and excited! Finally time to relax and enjoy. It's his first Thanksgiving, woohoo!
