together and the kids, it takes time for some to assimilate, but as a long time

partner your patience should be shown to the family since they speak no

English well....were tey feeling oppressed,with no outlets.....guess they watch TV

enough to know to call the authorities....You mention GC and what to do, bro I

know you are not looking info to repatriate your family ....you waited 4 days to

enquire of their whereabouts....if you want this family seek family counseling and

prepare to compromise, and work at giving your kids the best life.

Wife can adjust after divorce as stated above, she just needs to update her address for now. . If everything happened exactly how you put it maybe she expected something different and will come back after seeing what's out there. If you've left out the things you did to make her leave now would be a good time to look within and make the changes necessary if you want your family back. Hopefully everything works out.

Why respond to be negative? We know what this site was originally made for but everyday you see stuff like this posted. As long as their are ppl willing to answer-let them live. Not to mention he did ask a very specific immigration question.

Most of us have a better understanding of what the OP in going thorough because long distance relationships and immigration aren't something most ppl have experience with. He's invested time, money and lots of paperwork and it's ended after three months. If I was having an issue with hubby i'd prefer to get advice from someone who knows how hard it is to walk away after overcoming so much. (I'm a private person so I wouldn't post it in a public forum-but to each his own.)

Since know my wife I have never put hand on her and I am very happy that after 14 years they have came leaving with me, I love my wife and will love to save are marriage I just need to know what can I do? overs 14 years I have visit them 48 times I do know how usa are when back to children's and women I believe someone send them overs there by mistake. Today my wife brother call me from Africa and told me that my wife contact them on Saturday and she said that almost 2 weeks she tried to return home but black women on shelter tell her to wait . Number she call from did not been see by my wife brother I can not contact her because her cellphone is off . what to do please

If your wife wants to leave she can leave but she needs to make that decision.

Stop trying to find away to contact her it will only hurt you not help you.

Leave a message with her brother (if he calls you again) letting him know if she calls and tells him she wants to leave that she can they cannot keep her there.

If she has a cell phone when she leaves she can call who ever she wants and go where ever she wants.

Shelters work in private. Their locations are kept secret, and that is for the safety and protection of everyone there. You won't be able to find her, or find a way to contact her directly (your only option is through friends). And trying to find her, or contact her is a bad idea-- it only makes you look more and more abusive. I won't judge you. But I will tell you what it will look like to the people at the shelter and the police. She is in control of her own life here and she will contact you and return home when and if she is ready. You may have legal claim to the children, but that would be determined later, during a divorce. Like I said, abused women shelters are very, ver serious about safety and privacy. If you try to break that privacy, you will be considered a serious threat, and that will be used as a judgement against you in all future legal proceedings. Let her do what she needs to do. She's an adult, she's got a lot of resources available to her.

The police came to your house and took her to a shelter AFTER SHE contacted DV hotline,that being said they didn't take her to the shelter by mistake,she didn't call the domestic violence hotline to order pizza and the cops showed up in your house! or you abused her or she scammed you big time.
