I got the dreaded RFE in the mail today. It says that it is an intent to deny based on the fact that they believe that my marriage is not a true marriage. They are giving me 30 days to prove otherwise. I provided so many proof already. Last year I had filed for k1 visa and at the interview process my fiance at the time got denied( they did not believe that we had a true relationship) In this new letter for I130, they mentioned the previous petition and they said that they believe that I got married just to help him get his papers.(so frustrating hear that when people that are actually doing it for business are getting approved and the people with true relationships are given a hard time) First thing Tuesday, I will be sending them all the recent proof that I have. (Good thing I just visited him this past August). These are the proof I am sending: New pics taken on my last trip with my pregnancy, letter from my doctor attesting to my due date and conception date, copy of stamped passport pages, western unon transactions, ultrasound pics of our baby, copy of marriage certificate and translation, Cover letter stating evidence being sent.... I will be paying the extra money so they can receive it on wednesday. Hopefully I get a quick turnaround. I wish good luck to everyone else. About to give birth any day now, and now this frustration. Staying hopeful.

Most of us here are on this journey to be with our loved one(s)... but we can only imagine what you are going through. Prayers that you will have the strength to get through this.

My I-130 just got approved by the Nebraska service centre, i.e. I'm now at NOA2 stage. I was notified via email. I got the NOA1 on 5th May 2015. I hope everyone else's gets approved ASAP.

Congratulations and All the best

Never mind. I missed that it was someone else, not you, who got approved. So it looks like NSC is tracking closer to 6 months, not 5.

Exactly , Nebraska service centre now working on April not may

Same here. It's been 5 months since we filed, so today I called and was told exactly the same thing.

Nebraska has been rolled back to April 2 for all types of I-130 petitions. They also updated Nebraska's processing times on the USCIS website, so this is official.

Some people will no doubt get lucky and get approved sooner, but for the rest of us this means 6.5-7 months instead of 4.5-5. Aghrrrr!

There really doesn't seem any order when it comes to approvals. They are always all over the place. It is so crushing to think you are so close to moving on and then BAM, the processing center throws a wrench into the mix. Maybe NE will start transferring petitions to CA, you never know. Let's all try to stay hopeful, the thought of finally being able to start living every day with my husband is keeping me going. Crossing everything we all get approvals very soon so we can move on to NVC and get on with this!! :)

The good news is that it won't be much longer. We've been waiting for 5 months already, so we're almost there. Even if NE doesn't manage to get their timeline back in order, it's only an additional month or two, at most. That's not too bad.
