This is very encouraging. Just to ask, did you sent 2014 taxes.. we are NVC feb filers and did not see a checklist for 2014 taxes even though we already filed. Praying for a CC. We can present them during the interview.

Does it really take 30 days after a checklist sc to get cc???

After sending required documents regarding the checklist received, NVC is processing case completes in less then 30 days.

Hi everybody my wife got accepted (case complete) april 8th. She is in Mexico. It has been over a month now and we have not heard any news or received any notices or messages on our interview date. It also does not say "ready" on the CEAC website . My question is, how long does it take for the interview date to be scheduled after being accepted at the nvc? Since she is in Mexico, the embassy probably has a lot of petitioners and maybe thats why it is taking a long time. But on this thread, i am seeing people receiving their interview date after a couple of weeks after "case complete". Does anyone know why it has been over a month and no interview date yet? Please respond !!!!

Congrats on your CC :D ..Updated Spreadsheet

Thanks! one small comment, you put 19 days for the review in my case, it is 28 :D

no they did not ask for 2014 taxes as we sent the taxes for 2011, 12, and 2013. I think they ask for 2014 in case you sent only 2013 for example.

good luck!

Our scan date at NVC is 5/5/15 for my application for my mother IR5 (Mumbai consulate). She was married in 1960 and my father passed away last year. I did not submit her marriage certificate as we could not procure it easily. I am in the process of getting affidavits from my uncles who are older than my mother. Will it raise an RFE at NVC or will they allow us to submit the paperwork during the interview.

Can someone with similar experience please reply.

Thanks.

Whats your scan date? So i can add you to the spreadsheet. The ready state on ceac means that the documents are already at the local US embassy. In your case NVC will give you your interview date then sent it to the local usem, the ceac status should be

-- At NVC --- In Transit --- Ready.

How long the schedules is? Really depends on the local usem some as fast as a day, some 6 weeks. Lets wait maybe someone will confirm that question

Exception: If you are the Petitioner for your parent (IR-5, Parent of a U.S. Citizen), you do not have to submit your marriage certificate.

I reviewed this last month coz my aunt is going to petition my grandmother, hope it helps.

I dont know what the scan date is but they received my packet 2/17/15. They originally received my packet in 11-5-14 but I made a mistake and had to resend it. Anyway like i said im seeing people getting their interviews in a couple weeks.

Also , will my wife have to go to a service center to schedule the interview or will she just get the interview date in a message?

I am short of breath. 3 N/A's just now :dancing:

My scan date 3/30

Check list 4/23

New scan date 4/27

CC 5/13

Should I call them to verify? I would hate doing it. Better wait for an e-mail. We called the NVC 3 times in order to keep sane :D

Thank you all for tremendous help!!! You are the best! Best of luck to you!
