Be careful of tale-bears, prove this for yourself...the mind will play tricks on you when

naysayers are in your ear.

Did You leave a watch-man over her

Did she say she is see-ing someone else

Why do you think this person bring you such a tale (maybe jealousy, maybe to put you down)

Are you an overly jealous person.

Would you leave her if she had a fling you were not suppose to know about, are you ready to end it if so

Maybe you think she is acting cold because of the negatives you been told

Maybe she's acting cold because you been acting cold or suspicious

Discuss some counseling with her & ditch the tale-bearer frenemy

I agree with this person, your city is listed as New York city. The odds of your friend seeing her out are very very low. Also waiting is tough, not all but some probably get into a little trouble. It isn't the end of the world. Two people need to choose to be together, that is what is important.

Then is nothing to discuss here, really. Go to the interview. You are already married, so you still have a wife. Then go to the US; keep everything in France in place, just in case. Talk things out. If things are great and find out that those were false stories, then you will live with your wife. If not, then you can part and divorce. Not going to the interview on innuendo is foolish.

And i agree with this person. Look distance is hard and not everyone is strong enough to go to bed alone everynight. I'm not making excuses for a cheater but it's the truth.

Don't go trusting ppl- you never know if they have an ulterior motive. No matter how long you have known someone they could still not be 100% truthful. Not everyone that claims to be a friend is really happy for you. I've learned the hard way that ppl close to you (even family) are sometimes the one wishing for your demise just because they don't agree with your decisions or they are just muiserable in their life.

You need to decide what makes the most sense for you: stay in your country or come here. If you would still like to live in the US even without her, go to your interview, move here, get on your feet and watch for signs that she's being unfaithful. If you are doing well at home and you're only reason for coming is her then talk to her. Preferably in person or skype. Don't turn it into a arguing session just let her know that you're sensing some changes and you've heard this and you want to know what's going on. But I caution you, don't have that conversation until you know you are prepared to handle the possibility of her admitting to infidelity. However you handle that will set the tone for your marriage so if she says yes she's cheating and you are forgive her right away, it will set the precedent that you are okay with it and that issue will come back up later.

For your sake I hope your friend is just a hater and your're wife is just being cold because of work. Fingers crossed everything will work out.

Hello, I am very sad at the moment. I have my embassy interview for my visa next week. We, my wife and I have been going together for a year. She met me online and I went to the US to meet with her. We fell in love and got married. I had to come home for work which I did and we filed for spouse visa. Now I think she is seeing someone else. Someone I know and trust who lives in the same area as her has seen her together with another man, they were kissing and not in a friendly way either. She has become cold the last month or so and answers my questions very brief - unlike when we meet. What must I do now? I still want to go to the US and see her, maybe we can work this out. I'm just confused.

Sorry .if its not you who see her with your own eyes ,or many have seen the same things i wont trsut one person at all

I feel you should go to the interview, get the Visa (you are married after all), go over and sort this out. If she is cheating, get a divorce but don't trust a hunch. You won't be committing any crimes, she has told you there is nothing wrong. So you won't be telling lies that this is not a bona fide marriage at the interview.

OP should be interviewed for CR1 visa (marriage is less than 1 year).

How does he going to ROC if he divorces right after going to US with CR1 visa?

If he can travel with VWP, then he should do so. Delay the CR1 interview first.

Sort out the marriage issues first before uprooting oneself to a foreign country permanently.

Done with K1, AOS and ROC

Maybe he doesn't want to live in the US without his wife? Most people who follow this path do so for love, not entry into the US.

Right now, he has a bona fide marriage, at least in terms of USCIS standards.

Telling him to go over on the VWP serves no purpose - he must go over as a husband, which he is and determine whether this marriage is for real.

Most people a week away from their interview are already uprooted and ready to depart, it would be silly to believe he is not.

This is my opinion.

Thanks everyone for your opinions, I am going to think about this over the next few days and make a decision. Right now I just want to sit down face to face with her and talk. Maybe I will delay the interview and go on a quick visit.

If you go to see her before the interview, maybe its better you dont tell her you are coming and pay her a surprise visit. So she is not aware you are coming. That way you will find out whats going on. Or your wife lying or your friend making up stories. You will have to go to see the truth. Wishing you the best.

Divorce is handled by the State Government instead of the Federal Government. Since they have not been living together for the past year, she would claim "no-fault". She would not lose any of her pre-marriage assets and I seriously doubt the judge would consider any post marriage assets as "shared assets" to be divided. He probably ends up paying her legal fees as well as his own. Family Court in the US is very biased against men.

I am an American Male and I am very aware how Family Court is biased against men.

I would hope if they got a divorce he would take time to slowly clean her out and set her up for a financial fall...

I agree with this person, your city is listed as New York city. The odds of your friend seeing her out are very very low. Also waiting is tough, not all but some probably get into a little trouble. It isn't the end of the world. Two people need to choose to be together, that is what is important.

This is what the OP wrote : " Someone I know and trust who lives in the same area as her has seen her together with another man, they were kissing and not in a friendly way either."

Not far fetched at all, people living in the same area frequent the same area and it is not unusual at all living in NYC or Timbaktu.

The odds are very high and not very low but if people don't read a post carefully and put a spin on it then it gets twisted and everyone runs with it.

Getting into a little trouble would be spilling coffee on myself or even getting a speeding ticket but downplaying sleeping around ? Seriously ?

To each his own but that is a deal beaker for me and I don't play with my health like that.
