hello guys

i got my biometrics appointment today, im gonna do it next week, can any one please tell me what gonna happen during the biometrics and what gonna happen after it, thanks y'all

you will be fingerprinted and a photo taken and away you go....60-90 days for I-765/I-131 approval, hope for a AOS interview, wait times for a green card with a "interview waiver letter" are reaching i year in many cases. Good luck!

I am still patiently waiting for NOA1 from AOS that was received at the Chicago lock box on 4/27. The check has yet to be cashed but then again it's USCIS. Hopefully this week at least the funds will be deducted from my account and NOA1 is sent to my mailbox?

It can change to "Case is ready to be scheduled for interview" if you will have an interview or that your EAD and AP are approved, whichever comes first. There is really no definite time when the status changes, so try checking it every week. :)

I received my NOA1 and the check was cashed 4 days after USCIS received my application. I received the hardcopies in the mail after 9 days. Yes, hopefully you will receive a text/email this week. :)

We received our biometrics appointment letter on friday :)

Noa1- 20th April

Scheduled biometrics- 12th May

We're hoping that they'll accept an early walk in.

Great! And we have the same NOA1. :)

Yes, you can try that. Try to go during the hours that they are not very busy. Good luck! :)

Yes, I hope to receive e-notifications/news this week. I did my homework and checked everything over and over several times before I sent off my wife's (K-1) and step daughter's (K-2) AOS packets so I trust all is well. :D

Thank you for your response! I expected to get another status change first like "biometrics received" or something, but if that's all that will come then I have to wait a little longer. :)
