Hi Guys, Today i made a call to NVC asking abt interview schedule....and a lady representative replied... Sir, it isn't scheduled yet...Actually they don't know anythng when it will schedule...they r just computer operators....only tell what they see on computer....The Operational Department Do all the things....and representatives don't have direct link to it....i think we can't do anything at this stage except patience and pray........My CC date was 04-09....Hope Good luck for everyone...!

Visas in hand!! It took us 17 months from NOA-1 to receiving the visas. Thanks to everyone for your support and advice through this difficult process.

12/27/12 - Married in Bamako, Mali

11/12/13 - I-130 package sent

11/15/13 - NOA1

05/27/14 - NOA2

06/16/14 - Case received NVC

07/01/14 - Case number assigned

07/21/14 - DS-261 completed

07/25/14 - AOS bill paid

07/30/2014 - AOS package sent

08/18/2014 - add-on AOS package sent (learned that I should have sent 2 separate I-864s even though the cases are joined...oops!)

So the CEAC Visa status changed from "NVC" last night to "ready" this afternoon.

I thought "Ready" means the file arrived at the consulate. I doubt that it will be from scheduling interview (04/20) to "ready" within a day.

I hope it won´t be just an update by consulate to re-schedule interview!

Mine was "ready" on ceac also like one day after I got confirmed interview by phone.

Haha, yeah, i know what you mean. I did the same exact thing, just out of curiosity i logged in, even though i kind of knew what it would look like. It´s just sometimes seems all so surreal, after more than 16 month in this freakin process.

:rofl: it is amazing what this entire process makes out of people.

Mine was "ready" on ceac also like one day after I got confirmed interview by phone.

I still am a little bit suspicious if that status is good or not! It changed within 12 hours after P4 email. I guess just time can tell :clock:

We have been approved!! Hubby should get his passport back within a week :)

We have been trying to sell our australian house since November so as soon as that sells he will be on a plane!! I can't wait. Just hope the house hurries up now!!!

I sent an email last week to my Congressman. This was part of the reply that the NVC gave them:

"We are unable to predict when this case will be scheduled for an interview. We determine our scheduling based on the capacity provided to us by the U.S. Embassy."

Seriously? I have sent an email back to my Congressman asking - can you contact the US Embassy and ask why they have not provided capacity since 3/23 OR when they will provide capacity.

Arg!!! I really do not think the Embassy is the issue. :(
