can anyone explain to me what mean "administrative processing" i just had my interview couple days ago and i got approved, and when i check my case online its administrative processing

But you don't actually have it yet, so you can't travel on it.

It could take weeks or maybe even months until the AP is finished; you won't receive the visa until the AP is successfully concluded.

i did my interview on thursday and i got approved then the embassy asked me to come back again on tuesday to pick up my passport

Don't panic, that is normal. It means they are working on your visa. If they tell you to collect your passport on tuesday it means they are working on it.

You will get your passport on Tuesday with a visa.

Okay this is confusing.

You say you're in AP. But have been told to pick up next Tuesday?

Don't you have to wait for AP to say issued before you can collect it?

People can remain in AP for periods of time long and short.

You should not have made any plans until it is in your hand.

I wish good luck, and when you go on tuesday you find your visa.

Because many people when go to pick up their passport dont get it.

Do plant without visa in hand is bad idea.

I was approbed in my interview, i paid the delivery service and they took my passport.

Next wednesday i will gave a year in administrative processing

If you are from a muslin country get preper for a long ap.

Usually muslin country people dont get their visas soon.

So crosd fingers that you get it on tuesday.

After visa is approved and they keep your passport it always shows AP until visa is printed. Its normal. As to AP for security checks, consul advises that visa cannot be issued and applicant has to wait for it to be completed and that takes weeks/months. You can relax. Congrats!
