Called TMM Express and they said they received the passport the day it was issued. They said we could pick it up Tuesday morning. :)

Also I found surprise round trip tickets through Delta for only $3,353. All the other flights were $10,128. I called Delta and they said if was posted then that would be the price I paid even if was a glitch.

I saw nothing wrong with the flight...no long layovers or unknown carriers. Only one issue that the flight from Amsterdam to Atlanta was not open to choose seats. There's a chance we could be separated.

Would that really cause such a discount? $7000 cheaper?

I've never had the chance to pick a seat so far lol. It was always a "game" to pick the best seat lol

WOW $3000 for a RT to Europe. Shop different days you will likely get a better deal. Check out www.kayak.com and use the show flexible dates. Once you find a good flight, its best to go to the specific airline and book since if you have problems with delays, booking direct the airline will help out. If you book via Kayak or other website the airline will say sorry call them. Only use it to shop.

As to seats there is a great website called www.seatguru.com. Tells you the good and bad seats on planes of most airlines. Plug in your flight number and date and the seat map will come up.

Good Luck

I don't have the luxury of shopping different dates. I searched other sites and only found something $200 cheaper and it was with booking two different itineraries.

So I choose to pay $200 more and have the convenience of not having to go through customs then run to the front of the airport to check in for the second trip. Delta will carry our baggage all the way.

Right now August rates are terrible, plus this is $3,353 for two people return trip. I think is not bad.

Hi All,

I'm glad to hear about the approvals, and also that some have started booking their tickets!

I haven't been here for quite a while due to the fact that Monica and I have decided to take advantage of the fact that my medical and interview are in Paris and plan a week long vacation.

So anyway, my interview was successful! Unfortunately, the visa is still not approved because of an issue with my police records from Israel.

According to Israeli law, a citizen cannot hold his police records (one can look through them, just not receive a copy), so I had to get the Israeli police to send them to an Israeli consulate in France and have them send it to the American Embassy.

At first, the American embassy stated they didn't receive anything even though the tracking number I was given by the Israeli consulate states it was received over a month ago.

During the interview the officer said that now that I had my interview it will be easier to find the letter that was sent. Strange :/

Luckily, I received a phone call from the embassy on Friday morning saying they found it, so hopefully the passport and visa will be in the mail next week!

Have a good weekend everyone,

Asaf

has any February TSC filers been approved yet?

Yeah, I think the latest by NOA1 date Feburary filer was http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=186648 They were from Florida, so I think this is a legitimate SRC case.

Oh good! How long did it take again?

As for the state id / dmv id you need to do it asap as they require at least 60 days validity on the visa (i read this somewhere here on vj).

You're almost done with the aos packet yay! :)

My F and i are just doing research for now since the wedding is going to happen next week. Were planning on submitting the marraige certificate ourselves at the county office if they will let us so we dont need to wait long for the certified copies. :)

Thespoons,

I just went there in the courthouse and get it myself. It is $15 per copy of marriage certificate. If I will wait for the mail I don't know how long will it take. After the wedding, I am required to apply for a marriage certificate after 10 working days. But even before the 10th day try asking them If you can get a copy right away. Just go in person so there is no delay. I don't know about the 50 day validity of the DMV but can you send the link where you read it?

Hello everyone,

Im a silent march 2015 filer since it was created! Im so thankful for this thread because it really helps us with our journey, finally we got our visa yesterday!! Anyways just want to ask about the issued visa. There's 2 dates on our approved Visa on the passport.

One is the expiry date which is Jan 2015 and the other is the Petition Valid till August 29? Do we need to travel to the US before the petition validity which is August 29? Thanks in advance!
