Just got CC today.... hoping for a quick interview date....

I haven't received my case complete email yet...I have received Interview appointment letter (P4) from NVC 3 days ago.

is it normal not to receive case complete emails even after we received our interview appointment letter (P4) from NVC ?

It's npt normal but some get it some don't. Really doesn't matter you have interview date. Congratulations.

I have looked everywhere and can't find how long it takes for visa to be received once approved. By chance does anyone here know? I will be going to see my husband at the time of his interview and would like to travel home with him if approved. Just can't figure out if I made my return flight to early lol

Depends on the country where the Consulate is...Usually, you will get visa in hand in 7 - 10 days

Thank you for your reply. We will be in Nigeria and from the few I have seen it looks like the average is 6-7 day.

You didn't check the info page for Nigeria portal. It's 7 business days. Barring any issues its available a week later for pickup.

Remember 7 days isn't always the way even f approved some people take longer in processing. So you need to know that.

CHILL! The Consulate is much easier than NVC. NVC is the one that is the pain in the butt about these Australian Police Certificates.

You will be fine!!! The Consulate has already told you so. Put your anxiety into what to wear! (grin)

I hope you are right! Thank you so much Sukie you really made me feel better :)

As to what to wear, well that's been planned for weeks LOL! Actually I'm just going comfy, but not too comfy. Black jeans, boots and a nice top. I was thinking about whether I should cover up all my tattoos (I'm quite heavily tattooed) but I don't think that is going to be necessary somehow, lol can you tell I've overthought this?! Minimal makeup, done.

Gosh I miss my husband so much. Our dog got to him earlier in the week and she is LOVING the cold and snow, and the attention from her new grandparents, lol.

I am the beneficiary. My husband is the petitioning USC.
