Just as an update; we have got checklist email on 03-28-2015, scan date was 20-01-2015. Page 9 of I-864 for both petitioner and joint sponsor were missing! Nothing to say as I have no idea what happend to the last page! I also have no idea did they review the forms and documents or there is still chance of having more checklist on AOS? NVC requested to submit new I-864 forms. Do I need to put Tax return for 2014? Any idea? I am going to mail the signed forms today/tomorrow with three staples!

I would check it like you first checked it.. make sure everything is good.. triple check ! and yes there is a possibility that you will get a checklist but lets hope not. if there is anything you unsure of just a bit ask! and don't think 2014 is needed yet but if you have it doesn't hurt to fix it for 2014 . my take anyways. and I stapled my packets ALL pages that went together.. I just couldn't trust the clips lol! and one staple is enough lol don't over do it :) make sure the last page is there when you staple!

Welcome to another monthly thread for those going through NVC. Good luck to all! Please read everything below, whether this is your first month or third :idea:

This thread is strictly for questions and progress. If you want to rant about this ridiculous process, please do so in this side thread here.

NVC will be closed on the following day due to federal holidays: NO FEDERAL HOLIDAYS IN MARCH!!. They are open every other business day (Monday-Friday) this month.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Before posting questions, please read the wiki I wrote on the NVC process here. Once you're done, read it one or two more times to really understand it ;) Don't forget to also read the official form instructions as well as USCIS and NVC's websites!
UPDATE: Please read the update I posted here in regards to no longer sending original civil documents to NVC!!
For up to date time frames, you can view my spreadsheet here.
If you want to see a visual of the NVC process, please view my flowchart here. Freshly updated to the new process!
I will be much less active in answering posts in these monthly threads, so don't bother asking me questions directly and please don't send me PMs with questions. If you send me a PM with a question that can be posted here, I will NOT reply. Just post them here for everyone to see and someone will come along to answer. Remember to be patient (re: just post once and wait) ;)
And if for whatever reason, you can't find the answer, try searching both on this website and on Google. It's amazing what you can find if you search ;)
If you're wondering about time frames, I've got a spreadsheet available for a reason ;) And if that doesn't help, look at the fellow members right here in this thread! Study their signatures/timelines and make notes. VJ also has this awesome page. Use it! I sure did during my process :)
And once you've got a case complete, please join Dwheels's case complete/interview thread (currently April), here.
Also, please read Kanuk's post full of advice and observations, found here.
New spreadsheet update!! In January, I inactivated my old request form (if you're still on the old layout, just PM me any updates). There is now only one request form active for people to be added/updated to. The current spreadsheet is more extensive than the old layout was and requires you to be up to date on things and to call NVC for specific dates. If you're not willing to do this, then don't even bother asking to be on my spreadsheet. I also issue my own version of checklists if you submit dates that don't match your timeline or if something else is wrong, like if it shows Armenia as your consulate and/or your timeline isn't completely up to date. So please, verify your timeline is correct before submitting a request.
New request form (to add or update) here
New request form response sheet (to see if you received any error notes from me or if I simply haven't gotten to you yet) here
Hello Saylin, once it turn N/A does it turns to paid after few days?
I got my interview letter but not case complete letter yet, is there anything to worry? please let me know ASAP. Thanks
wow, this is great news....not only has the cc process seemed to have shortened but also the time to get a case number.
you newbies should have a lot to be thankful for....you're coming in at a good time. the wait to get a case number these past months has been min 42 business days; and from scan date to cc 60 to 70 calendars days to 45 (but many who have mailed docs in have been getting cc within 21-35 days).
looks like good things are happening at the nvc :thumbs:
I received this email this morning, I'm thinking this is my cc letter.?
31-MAR-15
Dear Sir/Madam,
All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's processing of your case has been received. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner and attorney (if applicable) will be notified.
The applicant should NOT make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment until the US Embassy or Consulate General has issued a visa.
The US Embassy or Consulate General may require additional documentation at the time of the interview.
Sincerely,
Director
