Folks they are working today. Just finished my call 8.01 (7.01 am) to - 8.17(7.16). A fifteen minute wait. Not bad.

Have a good day everyone.

Yesterday I couldn't get through...it was always busy but today I was able to speak to a representative.

Okay, this is a very random question. Is there anyone who has got through NVC WITH a lawyer and WITHOUT a checklist?

Is this true that NVC gives checklists to those who have lawyers?

Yes, lawyers are of no use, i know, but this thing has made me curious.

Our lawyer made a mistake on the AOS and caused a checklist. She also did not tell us we got our case# and that the pay portal was available. We found out by calling, and it cost us a week. We are no longer using a lawyer.

That is just so wrong. Why didn't they tell that in the very first checklist! I really hope a supervisor review helps to get rid of this. Why do they want your husband's I864? You had a joint sponsor, right?

Guys I have a question here about these N/As for CC, It has to be 3 N/As or 4? ...Because it shows on that NVC site: PAID, PAID for AOS and IV fees, then N/A, N/A . I can't understand that. Can some one explain that for me?

I think when the PAID section changes to N/A then a case complete awaits. The other 2 N/A s are by default (They always remain that way). So technically 4 N/A (sometimes 3 N/A ) will mean a case complete. Someone correct me if I am wrong. :)

They want my sponsors husbands i864.. the first checklist they wanted i864a and now they are contradicting the first checklist by requesting a new i864.and they are claiming the signatures are copies and not original..:

NVC recieved my AOS and IV package today at 10:50. The real wait starts now. Wishing for a speedy CC. Best of luck to all of us. :)

I do not think so. The AOS and IV are still showing as paid. When the paid section changes to N/A then we can hope for a CC.

awesome!!! happy you got it there !
