I called NVC about a week ago, but they told me that they don't schedule my interview, because I already had one scheduled last year, but couldn't go and then retrogression hit. So now apparently my consulate is responsible for scheduling. I emailed them twice, and all I get is that they haven't received cut-off date and visa numbers for March yet (after VB for March was out). I just emailed them again. I hope I don't bother them too much...

Where are you from?

I'm from Germany, but I am currently in the US, so I need to book a flight for my interview. That's why I was hoping to get IL soon, because a trip to Europe requires some planning!

Thanks, yes, it was quite a shock when I was asking to have my interview rescheduled to the next month and then they told me that there were no visa numbers available anymore. But it wasn't terrible in my case, because I still have a student visa until May, so I can be in the US with my husband. :-)

I hope they will let me know if I need to bring an updated Affidavit of Support and tax returns. I will probably need a new police report, too.

Hi guys,

Just to follow up and update...

I had my medical on Tuesday and everything went okay. I was missing some vaccines, so the doctor gave me the shots, but OMG! I had a terrible reaction.. I felt so sick and stayed in bed the whole day yesterday. Thanks God I started to feel a better today.

What about you guys? How are you preparing for the interview? :)

Same here...went for medical yesterday n its horrible day today with pain n fever.

My interview is also in March. pllzz guide me.... on CEAC site my case is still in NVC.. so qns is when it will shift to Embassy..

Mine took 2 weeks to change to "ready" from the day I received the IL.
