Hi All,

I had my interview on DEC 05 2014 at US Embassy London. After the interview I was given 221g form and was told to submit more proof of relationship. I was completely shocked cuz I already gave them the marriage certificate and wedding photographs. When I asked the CO what exactly she require, she said anything which can prove ur ongoing relationship and include the 221g slip and Passport. Anyways my wife who is a USC came all the way to London on emergency leave from work. We then went to the embassy but couldn't get the appointment. She called nd was told to send nd email. We then sent them FB,Viber msgs,Skype screenshots, everything covering last one year, Her boarding pass, Her passport copy with UK entry stamp and my passport.

Everything was delivered on DEC 22 2014 as per DX. Since then we r waiting. On Monday it ll b exactly 4 weeks and we havnt heard anything. On CEAC dates r changing but status is still on AP.

Plz Help us with ur experiences nd suggestions!!!!!

That's the usual things people submit. Surprising coming out of UK that would ask for that. Now they will need time to read over it and all that.Usually they ask for 60 days. So hopefully they will have made a decision within that time.

You just gave them a years worth? You didn't give from beginning from relation up to submission of petition? They like to see before marriage during marriage to see the ongoing of the relationship. The first hello, how you transformed into a couple, the i love yous the future planning than the marriage and on and on stuff daily couples conversations.

Now is the wanting.

Very unusual for London. What reason would they have to be suspicious of your marriage? Anything unusual?

What are your nationalities? Country of birth?

Ages?

How long married?

Are your names common Muslim names?

Any previous marriages or petitions for other foreign spouses or fiancés?

It sounds like you have supplied them with what you have to offer. Four weeks isn't an extra long time considering there were 3 holidays around the time you submitted. They may be doing extra security clearances on you for whatever reason they collected more information from you.

Read what I wrote in this post http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/474161-london-k1-a-complete-guide/?p=6741253

One of my VJ friends was a UK citizen and in the UK since 6 months of age. Clean police record. She was born in India. Her AP lasted four weeks. Others have taken months.

I used to have a list of those interviewing in London who were in the security AP. I will look for it.

Edit to add: Found it. These are the VJ user names and the list is old I am sure there are more.

Knight and Magpie- born India, UK citizenship

BigDogi or BadDogi -middle east

DairyFarmer- Australia

TreeHugger - white British born

MARM- Pakistan

Linkin- Pakistan

Maya84- Bangladesh

Sergnavi- Pakistan

Adnan&Liane- born UK, spent a lot of time in Morocco

basher- Lebanese Muslim

KamLondon- born UK, father born Pakistan

dishajubayer- Bangladesh

If it's AP then no, there is nothing you can do about it.

I have seen people contacting DOS regarding their AP. Does that help?

Kindly can anyone give me DOS contact number plz.

Thanks a lot for ur help guys

Nothing you can do. Nobody can help. It is security related and secretive so they won't tell you why or how long. Do not visit a Muslim country while you wait or they will start over. I saw that happen to somebody going through London. There is a whole forum on the topic but many are from other countries where it is more common. You can read their stories if you like.
