06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Looks like an approval to me also.

Try using the Number they provided in this site. https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?This will give you more info on where it is sitting. Use the Immigrate visa section.

was 7 months just for a k1 visa and now we got tha we dnt know what that means

I am pretty sure it is an approval. Because it states they sent the petition - with SRC number- to DoS for visa processing. NVC is a part of DoS and it is the place where your approved petition will going to and assigned a case number. Did you get notification via text, email, mail, or just check your status on USCIS website?

yeah you got approved and they sent your case to NVC. Im in the same place as you. Waiting for NVC to receive my case. Wait a couple more weeks and then call NVC to see if they have assigned your case a tracking number so you can see when it leaves NVC and arrives at the embassy. It's a long process for sure but you're almost at the end!

Wait about 2 weeks and call NVC (you will get a lot of busy signal, so try to call 1st thing in the morning, they open at 07:30) and ask for your case number. They will give you new number, which then you will be able to check on CEAC website to see what is going on. Once NVC receives your file from USCIS then they will forward to embassy/consulate in Morocco. Then embassy/consulate will contact you regarding interview, etc. Good luck!

You can check the status of your USCIS petition hear (basically check your NOA1 & NOA2). It does sound like you've been approved as everyone has stated, but put your receipt number in that site and it will tell you what your status is.

I started calling 2 weeks after we were approved and they would say it takes 35 days for them to receive applications right now. It took ours 27 days to get there. :( But once it's there and they do their "stuff" it only took about 5 days to get to the consulate.

Things hopefully will start moving a lot faster for you now that you're out of TSC. (((FINGERS CROSSED FOR YOU)).

10/08/2015: AOS packet sent to USCIS (Chicago lockbox) via USPS Priority mail (They received it 10/10/15).

10/16/2015: Text/eEmails received from USCIS with receipt number. We received 3.

10/22/2015: Received hard copies of NOA's for I-131, I-765, & I-485.

11/01/2015: Got NOA for biometrics appt (for 11/12/15).

11/03/2015: Did WALK IN biometrics appt - took 15 mins. Person taking said work permit should be in mail in less than 4 wks.

12/09/2015: Got email/text notification for INTERVIEW date.

12/28/2015: Got email/text notification EAD card has been mailed.

12/31/2015: Received EAD/AP card.

01/11/2016: INTERVIEW (in Los Angeles office).

01/11/2016: Case in in "CONTINUANCE". Awaiting approval. (Feels like AP).

06/27/2016: I-485 APPROVED - (FINALLY!!!) / 264 DAYS (8 MONTHS 20 DAYS)

07/01/2016: GREEN CARD RECEIVED
