The 01 is the #1 of cases if you had other cases like I have a fried who has her and 2 ids all each with their own case #1 but it's 01, 02, 03 and of course the CDJ of the consulate is all.

CDJ2014XXXXXX 01 CDJ

CDJ2014XXXXXX 02 CDJ

CDJ2014XXXXXX 03 CDJ

CDJ2014XXXXXX 04 CDJ

example if there were multiple case flies attached to you thats what the 01 is.

We received the P4 e-mail yesterday our Case Number from NVC is still the same and when I try to check CEAC it says to check with NVC for next step. Would rather not but I guess I have to call them tomorrow. :( Me no likey talking to them. :(

I don't think you need to call as long as you have interview scheduled. The status will not change until they ship your case to the embassy.

Question!!!!

I received my P4 email yesterday, and I just noticed the subject of email was AMM2014******* (STD P4 APP (25NOV2014)).

So what does (STD P4 APP (25NOV2014)) mean?

Thanks

STD P4 APP (25NOV2014) is the shorthand for the "form" of the P4 letter. It's the "Standard" (STD) P4 Application (APP), and the "form" was last updated on 25NOV2014.

Most all of the letters we get from NVC are actually "form letters". It's like some of the forms we fill out - the most recent form date is usually at the the top or bottom of the page.

We've been finished with NVC since last May - and boy, have they made lots of changes since then!!!

A date that means something to NVC. All that matters is you have an interview date. YAY!! :dancing:

You're right but I was wondering because I hate NVC's surprises lol

Heeeey everyone! Happy 2015! I'm full of hopes and great expectations for this year!!

Hubby flew back to the U.S. Yesterday and I stayed in Brazil praying to be there with him soon.

My interview was scheduled for Feb 27th, I'm a little bumped because we were "expedite" but I didn't see any "expedition" on it...lol

Anyway, it's better than nothing, all my package is in the consulate already, now I just need to get ready with the medical and wait.

Prayers to you all, I believe this year will be a better one!

AFS/AMM

This is fro the NVC process wiki hop it helps.

Domicile

Please note, if the petitioner lives with the beneficiary abroad, you'll need to provide proof of US domicile with the AOS package, as well as bring it with you to the interview. Please read the I-864 instructions (pages 3 and 4) for information about it. This is NOT needed if the petitioner is living in the US. Here is a sample cover letter to include in the package (it lists MANY possible documents, some may not be applicable, of course, to prove that you have, or will re-establish, domicile in the US):

NAME

SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER

Form I-864

Part 4, Question 5: Country of Domicile

I, XXXX, am currently residing in FOREIGN COUNTRY with my spouse, SPOUSE'S NAME. Below you will find a list of attached documents to show that my principal residence is in the US and the steps that I have taken to return to the US with my family.

Steps I have taken to maintain US Domicile:

• Maintained my XXXX voter registration

• Maintained my XXXX credit card registered in the US with a US PO box

• Maintained my bank account at the XXXX Credit Union

• Maintained my bank account at XXXX Bank

• Maintained my XXXX drivers license

• Maintained my US retirement fund through XXXX

• Maintained my US investment account with XXXX

• Maintained my US PO box

• Maintained licensure by the XXXX

• Maintained membership in the XXXX

• Maintained my automobile in care of my parents

Supporting Documents for the above steps I have taken:

• Voter registration card showing permanent US address

• XXXX credit card statement showing US billing address

• XXXX Credit Union statement showing permanent US address

• XXXX Bank statement showing permanent US address

• XXXX drivers license showing permanent US address

• Retirement fund statement showing permanent US address

• Mutual fund statement showing permanent US address

• XXXX license currently up to date

• Renewal of XXXX membership

• County tax bill showing I still own a vehicle

Steps I have taken to return to the US to take up residence:

• Made arrangements for us to have a house to live in

• Contacted schools for requirements of things to bring to register my children in school

• Contacted my auto insurance company to find out about re-instating my insurance on my car

• Contacted shipping company for estimate of costs to ship belongings

Supporting documents for the above steps I have taken:

• Lease agreement for our house

• Email from schools regarding registration requirements

• Email from my former auto insurance company regarding my inquiry

• Email from XXXX with estimate and correspondence regarding shipping our belongings

I declare that I intend in good faith to re-establish my domicile in the United States no later than the date of spouse's admission into the US.

I certify under penalty of perjury under the laws of the United States that the statements in this letter and all accompanying evidence are true and correct.

Signature: ____________________________________________________ Date: ______________________

Thanks dwheels76! Since my wife is in US right since last 2 months and we marked Country of Domicile as (USA) - I don't have to collect/worry about the proof of domicile?
