Brrrr. I am not on the East coast but I am imagining that it is going to be a rude awakening when Rey steps out of the airport on Monday, on a day with a high of -2 degrees F. Winter sucks. Minneapolis winter is always like this.

I'm already sick of the cold weather wish winter comes to a close soon. Here its like very cold in the mornings and warm in the afternoon lol not a drop of rain in sight been a very dry January.

Last Saturday morning 7am, took Corey out for his paper round...was -7 then without counting wind chill. Brrrrrrr. You can just hear the snow crack when you drive and walk...soooo cold. It's been pretty chilly since then too, but not as bad as that. Worst day I saw since was -1. Pretty typical for winter around here though. M.

Here in Virginia, we're waiting to get hit with a snowstorm today. They're saying anywhere from 1 - 6 inches (ha! Talk about covering their assets with THAT figure...lol)

My daughter doesn't have school today anyway (parent/teacher meeting day) but how much do ya wanna bet that she won't have any tomorrow either!?

Then we are supposed to get more snow tomorrow....and then again on Monday.

We're getting paid back for how easy a winter it HAD been...lol.

Hubby doesn't mind - OVERTIME!

The low on Monday during the day is suppose to feel like -33. Don't go out at night, with the windchill it feel like -41. Not quite the -50 they were predicting, but still a wee bit nippy.

This would be a good time to introduce him to the Minnesota tradition of cranking up the heat, wrapping yourselves in blankets and drinking lots of hot chocolate.

I didn't look it up yet, but Corey just came in from school and said school may be getting canceled Monday and possibly Tuesday (the school officials told them today I guess) because it's supposed to be -13 Sunday and on Monday -36 or something. Greeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaat. M.

Oh, oh. I'm flying through Newark Monday and Thursday on my way to and from Toronto. Toronto looks just as "nice" - with the highs somewhere in the low teens and the overnight lows dipping below zero. But there's supposed to be an underground connection between the hotel and the office. They're just a block apart as it is. Time to get some work done...
