Hi everyone!! Since the USCIS website was updated we have not been able to check our case online. we were fine with this since we knew its a system glitch and we would get this error msg:

Validation Error(s)
You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:
  • At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the NCSC 1 (800) 375-5283 for additional information.

We would call the number and the automated system would give us the information about our case. We stopped calling and worrying about it since our case is still within the procedure time, However today we decided to call the automated system and for our surprise its saying it cannot give us any information about our case!! I'm freaking out, Is anybody else having this issue? for some reason hearing the automated system would give us a peace of mind but anymore. Does this mean we'll get a case response soon? Thank you!!!!

The automated system used to provide me with the information about my case but not anymore. it says that they cannot provide information about my case and to check if the case number is correct. Have you been also getting this msg when you call the customer service number? Hopefully it means something is happening!!! I'm becoming a little bit paranoic about it!! lol

I posted the exact same thing a few days ago but got no response. I'm also hoping this means good news is coming. All of sudden the automated line says my case can't be found. Prior to this it worked fine. I'm praying an approval is coming soon!

I also see we filed around the same time.

The system is just down, due to them changing the page and stuff as far as I know. So sadly it doesn't mean anything about possible action on your case, but don't hold me to that. You may get it sooner than you think or you may have a while longer to wait. Gosh this sounds so depressing.

I am not getting anyone's hopes up, but I started getting the validation error also about four weeks ago. Then, on Tuesday, I started having the same issue when I would call the customer service number. On Friday, my husband's petition was approved, and my priority date was July 24th, 2014.

Wow Katietw95 you just made my night!!

As I said, do not get your hopes up lol. It could really be anything. But, I do know other people who had the exact same situation as me, and they got an approval. But, I am sure that there are people who did not get anything who were in the same situation.. I see you are Vermont Service Center.. What is your PD?

Also guys, from what I have seen, they are NOT fixing the website validation error. It seems like the only time when that is fixed is when their is some sort of update on your case, whether that is an RFE, approval, etc. But, if you really want to know information, you can call the customer service number, get connected with an agent, tell them the situation and say that you have called multiple times and that you demand to speak to a tier 2 agent (because they can give you info on your case). Tip: When/If you are successful getting connected to a tier 2 agent, there is a call back feature where they will call you back when your turn comes (and they DO call back), do that! It is much better, and be prepared to potentially wait for a while.. Sometime the wait is over 2 hours.

Hello katie! Thanks I totally get your drift. Whether you're right or wrong I still appreciate the feedback. Sometimes just mere feedback is hopeful. I won't hold it against you. My pd is 9/5. I did speak to tier 2 last week and they said it's still being processed. Level 1 can no longer see any info like I can't as of the past week. Case just dropped off the automated system. Thanks for your help. You're awesome.

Yes, feedback is definitely always good! Yeah, when it started with me, the level 1 agents could not see it either. Hopefully, it is good news for you, and you will receive an approval soon! Good luck, and let's hope for good news soon. :)

And, you are welcome. :)

I wouldn't exactly demand anything from them.. Ask nicely.. I called the Wednesday before thanksgiving and the wait for a tier 2 operator was only 6 minutes. I have also sat on hold for 2 hours.. it all depends. I would suggest calling the minute they open.
