Mail or FedEx?

I am ready to mail my wife's N-400 package to the USCIS. On the USCIS website there are two addresses to mail your application. One is mailing through the USPS and Courier, (other than USPS). I would like to mail to the courier address via FedEx. Has anyone sent the application through FedEx or UPS? I noticed the address and city for USPS is different than sending it FedEx. This is why I am curious.

I believe courier don't deliver to PO Box that's why there is different address. If you are not in a hurry, just use USPS Priority Mail (flat rate envelope) and they will have it at around 3 days at a cheaper cost. You can have it certified for if you want.

The USCIS website has two addresses. The one for USPS is a P.O. Box, the one for the courier has a street address in a different city, (Lewisville, TX) instead of Dallas. I just wanted to know if anyone has ever sent the package via FedEx or UPS to the Lewisville, TX address? In fact all of the N-400 delivery areas have two addresses as this one does.

I sent my application by USPS Express Mail to the PHYSICAL address not the P.O.Box. So if you are sending through Fedex or UPS, send to the Lewisville address.

I sent mine by FedEx. Cost is more or less the same as express mail and less than UPS

From my own experience, please don't spend more money by sending overnight or express. My father applied 3 weeks after I did and our interviews were 1 day apart and both took Oath on the very same day. He sent his via priority and I, an impatient fool, sent it via overnight express. Not that throwing away 15 bucks is a huge loss, still, it has little/no benefit!

I sent mine with UPS (2nd day AM delivery).. You do spend a little more, but I don't mind paying that little extra to be able to track the package online in real time and to see exactly what time it was delivered, to where in the building and to whom actually signed for it!!

It's not too much more depending on what service you take with UPS... But whatever you do, please send it to the correct address depending on courier or regular mail. If you send your packet via courier to the po box, you'll end up delaying yourself by several weeks!!

Thanks everyone. I want to send it FedEx, not for faster delivery time, but for tracking, like deidre's reasons. I like being able to track on-line. I will not send it to a P.O. box, for sure. I am fortunate to have worked for FedEx for 15 years, so my discount will come in handy this time. I just wanted to hear if anyone had any problems sending through FedEx or UPS.

i used regular mail and everything went smoothly.. with fedex you are paying more.. you can still track it once you get your case number

Exactly. I did overnight express on USPS. Not that I really care about 20 bucks but it was a complete waste of time as my dad (who applied 3 weeks later) and I had interviews 2 days apart and Oath on the same day!

Could've spent it on an awesome burger and a drink for myself instead.

Rushing/hurrying an application won't expedite the process. It makes almost no difference at all.

I sent it by certified mail, just 5 bucks with tracking number and proof of delivery as well. I am just waiting my NOA but the check wahs cashied and I got my case number already

I used USPS certified mail, dropped it a Friday morning at the post office in Illinois, they got it signed at the Uscis in Phoenix the Monday around noon... no reason to pay overnight!
The few hours that you save on the mailing process is not going to make it faster.

Believe me, when you will be waiting for 4 to 5 months just to get to " inline for interview scheduling " status .....you will laugh at this ups usps fedex subject....save your dollars for something else.

I did USPS. I've literally never lost anything sent via USPS mail.
