What a nice change to read these beautiful stories!

My now husband and I met in South Africa. I was there for 6 months doing an internship in Conservation. He came as a volunteer and we became friends really fast despite my poor English back then. After 5 weeks he went back to New York and although we kept in touch I didn't think I would see him again. However, he planned a second trip to South Africa while I was still doing my internship, and we ended up in the same remote natural reserve without knowing it! :) We started "dating" inmediately and after only a month we knew we belonged together and we would get married one day.

Now, 4 years later and after quite a few trips to and from New York and Barcelona, we have been happily married for almost 2 years

I love all of these stories!

My fiance and I met 3 years ago in San Francisco. I work with his brother and we were all going to a concert one night with some people. Simon met us there straight after his flight from London and we completely hit it off and fell in love immediately. Over the next few weeks while he was in SF, we realized that we couldn't live without each other so he went back to England, quit his job and packed his bags and came over on a tourist visa and lived with me for 3 months. He unfortunately could not get a job with visa sponsorship so he had to go back to England and we have had a long distance relationship since then. He came to visit last month where we got engaged and started our filing process.

It has been many years of going back and forth and we could not be more excited to be together forever. So excited that this process has started and we are waiting on our NOA2 right now. Literally counting the seconds until he can be here for good!!

I was hosting an English class online on Google+ and he happened to show up in the middle of it. His English was really impressive, a bit intimidating because I thought he would steal my thunder as I was teaching. After class he invited me to a private video call and then we just started talking until it became an everyday thing :)
