CASE COMPLETE !!

Verbal confirmation by NVC Supervisor 18th Dec, 2014

Initial AOS/IV Scan Date: Sept 29th

Verbal Checklist items from NVC agent: 26th Nov

NVC delayed Checklist email for 3 weeks - in that time I was able to get Supervisor to review case as the information requested in the Checklist already existed in the original documents submitted.

Supervisor reviewed while on phone and confirmed case complete!

Is it likely I would get a January interview?

Good luck to all !!!

Your scan date was? And congrats!!!!

Hi! Thank you so much everyone!

My AOS Checklist scan was 10/17. The IV Package scan was 11/10 I believe. I called a week before getting CC and they said it wouldn't be completed until January. I haven't really been following scan dates due to starting a new job and being busy. I'm guessing getting this CC is appropriate for the can date?

Grumpy NVC rep confirmed case was completed on Dec 17. So 44 days from checklist scan date of Nov 3 to Dec 17. (Interestingly she said AOS Fee status change to Paid from NA doesn't indicate anything. Nonsense, of course. I wished her happy holidays all the same).

Now waiting for interview confirmation at Montreal.

Only last night before bed we were despairing of the wait and the possibility of another checklist. Both my American spouse and I are filing from abroad and he had to re-establish domicile. The process is exhausting. This good news has given us renewed energy.

Best of luck to all couples still waiting for action.
