Sent in the AOS and IV joint packet today!

Hope everything goes fine....

Does anyone know, the 60 days, is it a *minimum* or a *maximum*?

Are there any cases where it takes less than that?

It looks like its taking at least 60 days.... :(

Received my NOA2!! 3/2/15 Much sooner than I had anticipated!

Congrats! Now on to NVC! :)

Thanks!! Do I just wait now, or should I be calling NVC to see when they received?

You could call in a week or two just to see when they received it...they'll give you the same line they give everyone...that it takes 42 days to get a case number. I called once just to see when it was received by them and then just waited for the email.

why is it everyone who filed after me is getting their approvals before me

It seems like it's just luck of the draw, especially with Texas Service Center. But it seems like they are approving more and more November filers from TSC...hoping yours comes soon!

Is it just me who has decided to wait for the 2014 taxes to be filed before sending in AOS? Our joint-sponsor is fishing in Florida. lol....Seem pointless doing the AOS before taxes now, since if we do AOS with 2013 transcripts, they will request the 2014 soon enough anyway, right?

Married 2001, conditional resident 2003, permanent resident 2005.Left U.S 2012, abandoned green card 2013.Applied I-130 Nov 2014, approved Dec 2014. DS260 13th Apr 2015. Docs sent 27 Apr. Scan date May 1. Case complete June 4!Interview July 14th, rescheduled to Oct 20th.  Applied for N400 on November 6th, 2018. I'm the immigrant :)

I sent mine in before 2014 taxes are done. The due date for filing for 2014 has not passed, so the most recent tax year in terms of availability of a tax transcript is 2013. I don't see a problem...

I guess that by interview they may ask for 2014's, but I'm not sure that tax transcripts will be available till well into the summer. If I were you I wouldn't wait, if you want the process to go as fast as possible.

Thanks for the info! I will have to wait for the fishing joint-sponsor until first week of April anyway, and we aren't in a position of doing it as fast as we can, but before winter would be nice. I suppose we make the decision based on which transcripts are available when we all have our papers/photocopies ready.

I have a question regarding expediting, my husband rents a house with his sister and brother. Today he was notified that they need the house in 2 months because they are going to demolish it. This puts him in a very difficult financial situation, since the only one working is him and his brother. Do you think I would be able to expedite the case?

The chances of that request being approved are very low.
