I have a question for you all getting these three week NOA2's. Are you all living in the US? Or is your spouse living here? I do not understand the discrepancy between the CSC, and the other service center's.

I'm living aboard with my husband...

I have a question for you all getting these three week NOA2's. Are you all living in the US? Or is your spouse living here? I do not understand the discrepancy between the CSC, and the other service center's.

Yes I am also living abroad with spouses. Apparently they auto-expedite those through the USCIS process. Not always, but most often.

Many USC residing abroad can use direct consular filing through the embassy in that country and it is WAY faster so my only guess is that is why it is expedited??? No clue.

USCIS

10-24-14 : I-130 sent from South Africa to Chicago Lockbox

11-03-14 : NOA1, Case Transferred to California Service Center

11-24-14 : NOA2

NVC

12-12-14 : Case received by NVC

01-15-15 : Case # Assigned

01-15-15: DS-261 completed

01-20-15: AOS fee invoiced & paid

01-21-15: Mailed AOS & IV Packages

01-22-15: ORIGINAL SCAN DATE- both packages

01-23-15: Sent corrected AOS - caught my own mistake

02-11-15: IV bill invoiced & paid

02-14-15: DS-260 completed

04-01-15: Case Complete

04-16-15: P4 e-mail

05-14-15: Interview Date

05-25--15 : POE, time to MOVE!!!!

Removal of Conditions

Me and my USC husband also live abroad (Sweden), no NOA2 yet but still a bit early, not even 4 weeks, mail takes about 11 days also. Also I previously had a green card, have lived in 3 States, so they might have a lot to look at. lol

Married 2001, conditional resident 2003, permanent resident 2005.Left U.S 2012, abandoned green card 2013.Applied I-130 Nov 2014, approved Dec 2014. DS260 13th Apr 2015. Docs sent 27 Apr. Scan date May 1. Case complete June 4!Interview July 14th, rescheduled to Oct 20th.  Applied for N400 on November 6th, 2018. I'm the immigrant :)

NOA2 at 29 days!!! I also live abroad with my husband. Fingers crossed for a fast transfer to NVC.

Anyone knows what's the fee for I864 filled from abroad?

Same as if it were sent stateside, $120.

February 11, 2011: Registered for marriage in Wuhan, officially married!!!

April 22, 2011: Mailed I-130 to Chicago
April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)
April 29, 2011: Updated
May 3, 2011: Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail
July 26, 2011: Received NOA2 via text/email!!!
July 30, 2011: Received NOA2 hardcopy in mail
August 8, 2011: NVC received file
September 1, 2011: NVC case number assigned
September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)

October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)

October 16, 2013: Biometrics Appointment

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

Seems to me bro that they jacked us off because we are on our 2nd. time and they are both from high fraud countries DR + Colombia.... So our papers were sent to Texas....where there is a 5-6 month wait.. I hope you get your NOA-2 asap because I am right behind you...Mabye they just dont like Jersey dudes...cant say for sure..

Im sure they are aware of this website and someone probably moniters it to see how bad people talk about them .. then the file get lost deeper and deeper into the pile...

We shall see next year in the spring...... CSC + VSC are moving fast.....but we are stuck in redneckville @ TSC ..

Yeah my second time around too. First time was K-1 visa. They received my K-3 visa application and routed that to the Texas Service Center too double screwed was hoping for a different service center. We shall wait and see

We sent i130 december1st we got enotifecation that our case accepted december 4th we are so happy hopefully. Will goes right in sha allah! this is our second time 1st were rejected due to money order wasn't right !

Got my hard copy of noa2. Was approved on Dec 02.. now let's hope NVC goes fast

I called today to see if California Service center had sent to NVC yet and she says I need to allow up to 5 weeks. Still hoping for the best but seems its gonna be test of my patience :)
