I also wish you to have good news very soon. The universe has to give you back all what you has previously given to many people here.....(and outside)

Your very welcome and boy so many holidays used to love them now I hate them all and the weekends.

Wouldn't it be nice if all this pain and frustration was like putting money in the bank! Thank you so much, only time will tell.

So u were approved and already sent to embassy. That was your scan date? Bc I was just approved but am not sure if it's true that NVC will still wait 60 days to review my docs before sending to embassy.

Im so sorry to hear about this. It is completely unfair.

Expedites depend exclusively on the consulate/embassy. I got my case expedited cause the American Embassy in Madrid accepted it. I am pretty sure it has a lot to do with the letter we previously sent to the American Ambassador last September showing our concerns about the eternal processing times at NVC. Thanks to this (I forwarded the Ambassador's response to the NVC along with my request) I think we were successful more than the actual reason why my expedite was finally based on. Who knows. However, my expedite request was approved last week, my file was sent to the embassy by then and is still in transit. Maybe they sent it by kart pulled by two donkeys....Meanwhile I already contacted to the embassy here in Madrid and they replied to me that once they receive my file they will let me know and would give an appointment date for the interview. I will keep you posted.

My advice is you to try to send a letter to the American Ambassador and/or Consul General to the Netherlands.

Now, I wonder how long it will take them to issue the Visa and get it to us. Mmmmmm. Am super excited. Once they get my file I might email and see if I can bring it forward although I am sure they won't. Still, worth a try.

Guess they are still scheduling.

you should call NVC before they close for the holiday and find out if you have an interview date. I saw someone from Pakistan on interview thread got a december interview date today. His CC was 10/31. Good luck and let us know the good news
