It's been 51 days today and nothing.. TheBigO did calculate my prediction for nov 13- November 24 I hope we hear something by Monday!!!!

I'm freaking out the most

My scan date for both AOS and IV is 26th september. I called them friday morning and they said that they'll review it soon and I should call them again on monday.

The algorithm used to create the prediction is based on all of the data coming in from VJ members.

The analysis of the data shows the average time between last scan and Case Complete is 50.93 days. The margin of error in this is 2.09 days. The current relationship between last scan date and Case Complete is 84.31% strong.

I am not sure how it works for a checklist, however, I would assume that the day they receive your response to the checklist would be your new last scan date.

I would like to be able to give you your predicted CC based on your last scan date. If you could Private Message me, I would be happy to give you a mathematical prediction.

Teach me Biostatistics!!

I have been working with attorneys since 2004 and have spent north of $15K on them (not including form fees). From my experience if any particular attorney is not concentrating and specializing in some particular immigration forms (like doing just one or two types of cases) then they are very prone to mistakes. They are not mega-smart, most likely once they get your case they will read form instructions and complete form as fast as they can because they have a line of customers (more people - more money) and they don't care much about end results.

If they are not specialists in just one/two kinds of applications they will not do any better job than you do. You can even do better, on top of reading instructions you will also browse forums like this one, ask questions and get good answers. Plus it's your life and your destiny in your hands, you will be much more careful filling out forms, unlike blood-sucking attorneys doing it out of comfort of their expensive leather chairs knowing that they will get their $100K+ at the end of the year no matter how bad they perform.

Another experience of mine - if my last attorney would have not made primitive error couple years ago I would have been in the States a year ago. Now I am facing a prospect of waiting another 12-18 month because I may have to file one of my old applications again after visa interview because I need it before visa is given to me, and that app takes up to a year to be looked at. And I will not forget that attorney in around 2005 - I paid $60 for a first visit, to ask questions - on every one of them he answered "I can't say from the top of my head, I have to consult the Oracle... heh, books, to get the answer". Needless to say I have never stepped into his office again. I can do better than that.

Take your future in your own hands and do not trust attorneys - they are good at some things, but never let them send any forms before you personally look at them. I had some that made mistake in my name!

I've been watching your case too. I remember you received your AOS right after

I did for the same 13.1.a error. You should have your CC real soon now!!

Rest well !!

Wow! Thank you so much. Nvc did tell me it would be line 22 if 1040. So I will confirm the amount is correct once attorney corrects. Nvc also told me she left out ssn for my joint sponsor and to send w2 and 1 current pay stub.Should I just send that? I was going to add more document like joint sponsor w2 and pay stub and letter from my prenatal doctor this way they are aware my husband may have to be interview without me there if they do take 60 days to review (would be 7 months pregnant).Should I add the extra explained or just what nvc said??? I will call tmw to confirm if another rep says the samething on errors.
