No Votes for Dems or Repubs Until They Fix Unfair Treatment Towards USCs filing for the Spouses Abroad

But how do you bring enough attention to the matter? Sitting here on VJ discussing it but not taking action is meaningless. What important person do you know actually reads VJ? They could give a dime about us until they feel desperate enough to need our help. Until then, they are just going to do what keeps lining their pockets.

Dennis Michael Lynch has been trying for years to draw attention to the contrast of illegal versus legal immigration. Fact is, politicians run from the topic as if it were infected Ebola. Dennis' videos are real eye-openers. He's just an ordinary guy who took a look with his own eyes and has tried to make a difference. It's a pathetic testimony of American politics that Illegal aliens get attention and the legal immigration process is virtually ignored.

Who do we ask to simply fix the problem? How do you gain enough attention so that people will want to fix the problem?

Again, I work. I how I go and hold up a picket sign? Are you working? Can you hold up a picket sign 24/7? Other than this how can our issues gain attention?

Yes I work , 50 hours a week. To maximize your impact you should work through your Congressional and Senate representatives. They do track requests from constituents.

The content available on a site dedicated to bringing folks to America should not be promoting racial discord, euro-supremacy, discrimination based on religion , exclusion of groups from immigration based on where they were born, disenfranchisement of voters rights based on how they might vote.

My husband was contacted by the local police. We told the embassy and then the embassy told the police. No confidentiality.

Your case seems to be in limbo not because of an immigration official sitting on a stack of papers but an actual possibility of a red flag involving a bribe situation. In China such red flags at times never are resolved .from what I have read. A case of thousand of other applications need to be processed that have no red flags ... They pick the low hanging fruit. ... Sad but that is the way it works.

If enough of us are not complaining we will continue to get ignored.

I filed a waiver already. I'm waiting on the result. However, I should not have had to file the waiver for the misrep because we did not misrep. But with the doctrine of non-reviewability we can't challenge this.

There are lot's of illegals at that site, but they are in the process of attempting to become legal. There are many reasons for a waiver, not just illegal entry. I don't understand the hostile tone over there when they are actually following what the law allow, not asking for a free pass.

If someone is here illegally they are not following the law. They need to go back home, and wait until something legal is approved.

One of the biggest misconceptions about the immigration process is that there is a line somewhere and that once you send in your papers you're automatically placed on that line.

There is no line and the system was not designed to work on a FIFO basis.

Each case is an individual case, judged on its own merit, and that is why the process is lengthier for some. If you receive an RFE your case is not sent to the back of the fictional line, and neither is its place on this line kept so that when the RFE is satisfied it's back on the line.

Anyone going through the system is, by law, afforded the same rights. The word 'illegal' is thrown around by the unaware as a means to dehumanize these people. There has been a system in place for eons, and for better or worse it is what it is. Get with it or write your representative so Congress can get off its behind and do something about it.

This is not something new, nor is this something exclusive or intrinsic to this administration and the responsible for the kerfuffle are We The People, who have elected the politicians who have made it all possible throughout the years.

I'm a bit confused by the replies over there. That is a forum for the waiver process, the best one on the internet. Those are people who are doing what the law allows to overcome conditions of admissibility. Lot's of them have a spouse that entered illegally, but they are using the existing process to become legal. I don't understand why their replies sound like they do. Those people are all waiting a long time to go through the process too. They aren't getting to the front of the line.

A finding of fraud or misrepresentation in the immigration context makes the visa applicant permanently inadmissible to the United States. This means that one who has a fraud finding against him/her may never be allowed to enter the U.S. Though waiver of inadmissibility is available under limited circumstances, it is important when applying for a visa to understand the serious consequences that can result from any misrepresentation. Such waivers are rarely granted or approved, so the impact on an individual's life can result in a permanent bar on entry to the United States.

I hope you have a good lawyer working on this case..What ever flag that has been thrown up it looks like a difficult situation.

If he can prove hardship to me then he can be admissible. We have our fight together already. Just waiting on USCIS.

They mad at us for filing that writ of mandamus on them.

If someone entered illegally and married a USC while here, the law allows for a waiver in some cases and there is a process for that, just like everything else. Some of the people at that site fall into that category.

I should have been clearer on my post. I wasn't referring to the latest group of children, etc entering the US. Those aren't the people on the immigrate2us site. Many there had a spouse that entered illegally, or should I say married someone who entered illegally. And there is a process for those illegals to become legal. They aren't getting any special privileges or any type of amnesty. They file a waiver and wait.

Simple overstay is a I 601A

Waiver whilst in the US and then pop back for the interview.

If you are DACA then get AP come back and adjust in country.

Misrep would be be I 601, decent waiver and pretty much a guaranteed.

Drug Dealer, Multiple Felonies and then you are asking.

I have a problem with the people who crossed over and are now getting amnesty.

I have a problem with the doctrine of non-reviewability where no one is willing to challenge the U.S. embassies abroad on behalf of a USC. This should be a service offered to us being that this is our government we are having to deal with. The U.S. has completely cut us out of this process and it is unfair.

Do the illegals who are about to get amnesty have to go through embarrassing embassy interviews? Embarrassing physicals? Have someone to tell them their relationship isn't good enough? Deal with their rogue government back home and sometimes rogue embassy? Go through the stress we go through every day waiting on a decision? No they do not.

What is the point of us going through this if others do not have to.
