i765 in process - work permit

I applied for i485 after getting k1 visa. I have done the finger prints and my status online shows that it is in initial review. They received my application of Aug 5 and now it is almost three months. How long do i have to wait? Will they take three months as they say or it can take longer?

Anyone experienced this or any feedback would be great.

Mine has been stuck at Initial Review since mid-July. I wouldn't worry. Did you apply for Advanced Parole and Employment Authorization at the same time? I received both mid-September.

yes i applied for everything together. When did you apply for your application, and how long did it take for you to get work permit and advanced parol? I applied in August for all of that and it is stuck on initial review for so long.

I Lied. I just checked my status and it hasn't even made it to Initial Review - still stuck at 'Acceptance'. It was received July 18. Though like I said, I did receive my AP and EAD combo card within about 2 months.

You should have three case numbers - one for adjustment, one for EAD and one for AP. Did you check those other numbers as well?

Yes, I have three receipt numbers and I check all of them. All of them are in initial review. I am close to three months mark for EAD so let see what happens.

NOA1 for EAD is August 6th for Johan, and nothing so far. still in initial review. it's extremely frustrating. So many people have gotten it who filed after, but there's still some who filed before who haven't gotten it, so we just keep trying to be patient.

My case for I-765 was filed on the 14th of August with NOA1 on 18th of August and biometrics on the 25th of September. My I-485 is stuck on acceptance and my I-765 and I-113 are both still in initial review. Like Tina said, it's very frustrating to still be waiting when many others are being approved after our filing dates.

EAD and AP are stuck on Initial Review since 18th August, Fingerprint taken on 8th of September.
