Consulate Review: Bucharest, Romania
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : June 25, 2014
Embassy Review : My interview was scheduled at 1pm. I got there 30 minutes earlier. After security check, I got inside the Embassy where I had to give my passport, at another window my fingerprints were taken, after that they called my name at the first window to give all the documents needed, then go to another window to pay the Visa Fee, and then wait to have the interview. I waited around 15 minutes. There were 3 other people (Diversity Visa). I was the third one to be interviewed.
I had around 10-12 questions asked:

In what language I communicate with my fiance (because he wasn`t born in the US). My fiance's birthday? How we met? His parents name? Where do they live? What`s my fiance job? When he came to visit? When he proposed? If we established a date for the wedding? Wedding Plans? If my parents will attend at the wedding? If I met his parents?

.... "your Visa is approved"

Everyone was nice and calm...really friendly

Good luck all !
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
