My fiance cant come to morocco because of ...... :(

My fiance and i have been saving and making plans for her visit in December , and after all that work , her parents did not allow her to come because they are afraid she could be kidnapped by terrorists because she is american , i tried to do everything i can to persuade them that there is no danger here in Morocco , but without no results :cry:
what should we do now ? she is ready to come but she does not want to make her parents upset :(
we have been dating for almost a year and she was here 2 times , the last time was in April !

i am really heart-brocken !!
i need some advice please !!

How old is she? Does she have income independent from her parents? Her parents are just manipulating her

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

You can meet in another country where the visa thing is not complicated. Singapore has visa on arrival and it is free for 30 days.

I am sorry that your plans to meet have fallen through, I am sure they are just concerned about her safety.

Maybe suggest if they could come with her they would feel better about the trip as they might just worry about her travelling on her own?

She would have to make up her mind if she wants a life with you or not make her parents upset.

She can establish independance financially with a job, room mate etc. and live her life as she wants to.

Sept. 21 Interview, 2 hour interview, we were separated and asked about 50 questions each for an hour each. IO was firm but professional, some smiles.
Several service requests made, contacted Senator and Ombudsman. Background checks still pending.
July 21, 2017 HOME VISIT.  Went well. Topic thread in AOS forum.
Waiting to skip ROC and get 10 yr GC due to over 2 year while pending AOS
AOS APPROVED Oct. 4, 2017 * Green card in hand Oct 13, 2017 !!!!!

First K1 denied after 16 month of AP. Refiled. We are a couple since 2009. Not a sprint but a matter of endurance.

yes that is the last chance , they said they need to save up for the tickets + not to keep our hopes up :(

That is a very hard thing to do , i want her to be here while her parents are okay with that , i dont want them to hate us being together :/

Because the last time she was here was in April , and this terrorism , kinapping and beheading has just started a few months ago , when she was here there was no danger

Sorry to read this. Your fiance being a student and not independent from her parents means that it will be a tough road for you.

Even if you and her are on good terms & she is able to go visit you, she will probably not be able to financially petition you without a sponsor.

But good luck and best wishes. You and her need to have a good discussion about the relationship.
