After 256 days waiting... and nothing today....

I dont know whats going on with our file, it is a very simple one, I'm canadian, he is us citizen, both working, both over 45 years old, he has his own house, met

several times, very clean background... what else they want??? its unfair...

Your file is probably into a box someone put on the floor, then they put a box of newer files on top of it, and then another box of newer files and now they're using the pile as a tall coffee table. This is seriously the only explanation. Jokes aside, the wait is ridiculous now.

05/01/2015 --- NOA2 (198 days)

God guys, this torture is really not fair on you. I mean 260days! I take it no one has bothered with your service request either?

I am wondering if TSC was affected by the floods or if there online system is screwed up again.

When Rich called the guy told him he'd put a request and Rich would get an answer within two weeks.. nothing. I also filed an inquiry via the website, they're supposed to get back at us by Friday, but I'm not holding my breath on this one either.

Seeing how some of us are getting close to the 9 months marks and October/November are being processed, I can't find any excuses for TSC anymore. It's just clearly incompetence. Their work ethic is beyond awful, they forget there are people behind cases numbers.

9/8/14 - I129F petition sent to the USCIS lockbox via USPS
9/11/14 - Petition received @ USCIS lockbox
9/11/14 - NOA1 Email and text message received
9/15/14 - NOA1 Official notice date
9/18/14 - NOA1 hard copy received
12/9/14 - "Updated" likely because of website repairs, like many of us received
4/20/15 - NOA2 text and email (221 days)

4/29/15 - Sent to the NVC (9 days)

5/8/15 - Arrived at the NVC (9 days)

5/13/15 - Left the NVC (5 days)

5/15/15 - Electronic version arrived at the embassy (2 days)

5/20/15 - Paper copy arrived at the embassy (7 days)

6/4/15 - Status changed to AP (which meant that we could schedule the interview)

6/16/15 - Medical

6/17/15 - K1 APPROVED!!!!

6/30/15 - Passport and sealed envelope delivered via courier

No word for any of you??!?!?! Boy, that hacks me off. Ok reset. Crossing fingers for tonight!

Mewbear, in light of what you're experiencing I must tip my hat to you for asking about Elena and David. Thank you so much! Unfortunately no, there is no news for us either. I suppose that the curse of the TSC continues for me. In Moscow you must wait for an email from the embassy with instructions on how to go about scheduling your interview. Even if you've already paid the fee and completed the DS-160, which we have. Today is day 14 of that wait. There is a CSC filer who submitted his petition in April, got approved in early May and who has already been cleared to schedule his interview, even though his petition arrived at the embassy *after* mine did. It's "first come - first served" BTW, or at least it's supposed to be. So as you can imagine I am quite frustrated. I have decided to wait until the end of the week before sending an email to inquire as to the status. I've heard reports of 15 or 16 days of waiting, so I'll give it that before continuing. But it still hacks me off....don't get me started. lol
