This is seriously beyond pathetic. CSC is what....21 days now? And now new TCS filers are being routed to CSC. So basically any TSC filer from end Aug.-mid/end Mar.(rough dates) is screwed into oblivion.

Someone needs to contact Anonymous again. They made a video about this issue when CSC had this problem back in 2013.

Yeah, it's pretty eff'd up when would-have-been TSC filers from late March onward receive their approvals before we do. Eventually the number of petitions arriving at the CSC will have to result in longer wait times for those petitioners, but as of now, they don't appear to have slowed much....

Me! Still waiting!

Same dates as you, actually.

Maybe sometime like....TODAY... they'll process all of us 9/11 receipts.

Anywho...this is about how I feel about now. :bonk:

If we don't hear this week, I've gotta start re-evaluating wedding dates, which I know we're not supposed to plan for, but who the heck is gonna plan an entire wedding in the time between the NOA2 and the 90 days you have once they arrive state-side? I'm supposed to spend the first 7-8+ months of my engagement just NOT planning a wedding? Are you kidding? I shouldn't be punished because I happened to fall in love with someone who wasn't born in the US! WHY ARE YOU RUINING MY WEDDING DREAMS?????

AND!!

We are on a stinkin budget here. Plane tickets get more expensive every day, folks! I'm not made of money! And Andrew won't be able to work for who knows how long once he's here! So we can't afford to just throw together a wedding in 90 days. I live in the South. Weddings are an ordeal. You can't just throw this ####### together. And who wants a thrown-together wedding? I'm still young and romantic and all that good stuff. I want romance! I want pretty dresses and fancy suits and all our friends and family together. Is that so wrong?

Apparently it is. Apparently it's only allowed if you fall in love with a citizen of your own country.

Why is USCIS so MEAN? *sigh*

*end rant*

My apologies. Give me a moment to regain my composure.

ahem.

Funny. I saw another VJer noting that the USCIS, in all of its wonderful bewilderment, suggested in their RFE to the aforementioned VJer that they include evidence of wedding announcements and plans. Duh...........USCIS get your cr@p together! How in the hell are we supposed to provide such evidence when we are not able to make such arrangements due to the unpredictability of the excessive delays??!?! It'd be ridiculous if it wasn't so S-T-U-P-I-D.

What a load of horseapples.

This! We set a wedding date of September 26th thinking the timeline would be more than enough to get the visa, organize our wedding and be married.. now we are looking at everything happening at once.. so crazy stressful!

Sure, USCIS says not to organize anything, but it's easier said than done. Our entire life is in stand-by waiting for a piece of paper, it's so silly. Our bank accounts are getting drained (which makes me so anxious for when I'll finally have an interview date), some papers they ask at the embassy have to be less than 3 months old (wanting to reduce the wait I've already got everything), etc.. add so much stress.

I was never really interested in a wedding (my SO instisted on it) and I never knew how many things there is to plan, and how expensive it is (and we are having a small wedding with just family!).

Every day I tell myself it's just the matter of one more day, just one more, but it's getting harder and harder to stay optimist.

211 days since our NOA1, over half a year of waiting, waiting, waiting..

Let's hope for tomorrow.. again!

I did my waiting! 9 months of it.. IN TSC!

NOA2 or the story of the Holy Graal.

Wow so some of you who received their NOA1 from TSC after Sept. 8 (when we received ours) are already seeing NOA2s. We haven't gotten ours yet. Anyone else like this? Obviously they're not exactly working sequentially.

Also, regarding the RFE on the letter of intent, we both signed a single document saying we were to get married within 90 days of her entry, hopefully that's sufficient...right?

They don't work in order, despite what they state on their website. In short, there is no order. At all.

In respect of your letter of intent, if you both signed, one letter will suffice.
