Hi,

My AOS scan date is 09/15 and my IV has arrived NVC today, . will be scanned prob by tomorrow or Friday. So the question is, are counting 60 days from the AOS date or the IV scan date? I asked the the NVC guy he wasn't much of a help, asked me to call Friday and said we'll fill you in then (take that as an answer!!!!!).

Hey all,

We got a second checklist for AOS last week. We have prepared the corrected AOS. Our lawyer has been MIA so we had to do it on our own. Before mailing it to NVC I wanted to doible check with you all.

We are sending all 9 pages again. There was only one mistake on part 6 item 10. We made the correction and kept everything else the same. We have the two barcode pages in front of the 9 page AOS. On each page of the AOS on the top right corner we have hand written our case number and stapled all apges together. So far, is this all correct?

Also, on page 9, section 9 should we leave it blank? This AOS is for our joint sponsor. My MIL is our joint sponsor. My husband filled out her AOS. So he should be filling page 9 as 'preparer', right?

Thank you in advance!

P.s. Been MIA bc the second checklist really hit me hard :( congrats to all the CCs' and my are prayers with those of us still waiting patiently!

Hello,

OMG!! i got exactly the same error in my AOS. I too had a lawyer. You don't need the lawyer again to send it by yourself. Just get the I864 copy and fill the total amount. I am assuming your husband is the ONLY sponsor. Its the same number for his income in that line..the total.. Get a copy from him, then manually write the number and scan it. and then resend the whole I-864. thats it. Sorry you are going through this.

My lawyer had left it blank too. Technically, your lawyer, you or your husband can submit. Just go to Saylin's wiki and enter the information on the email exactly like she tells you, thats it!

Also, make sure to have your case number on each page on the top right hand corner (it will be written in the checklist email). you can even have it handwritten.

If i am not clear PM me and i can tell you step by step. By the way what part of canada are you in?

Hey sorry for lare reply. This whole checklist bs really got to me! Anyways like i said lawyers is MIA so my hubby filled out the AOS. My MIL is our joint sponsor. We printed the two barcode pages, we filled item 10, the part our lawyer left out, we hand wrote the case number on top right corner of each page and stapled it together. God willing my husband will mail it out tomorrow morning. I looked at the sample form and we are all good to go. Also, we got a second opinion from my dad's lawyer ( my dad insisted) and he said everything is good. One question though, on page 9, this section is for the preparer; the AOS is for my MIL, my hubby filled it out, so that means he needs to put his info their, right?

I am in Vancouver, BC. How about you?

P.s. You were very clear :) thank you! I just want to be sure before the hubby mails it out....

I think they will go with your last scan date of Sep 3rd. You shouldn't be very far off at all. Hang in there.

Andy called today. Spoke to supervisor. No change from what they told me although apparently now our scan date is 23rd Sept. I mean who knows anymore. I am just going to sit tight and wait. Doesn't really matter which one it is we probably won't get a December interview. Have resigned ourselves to a January interview and an Ozzie Christmas.

Good to see they are September 5th though.

Congratulations to those CC's.

Forgot to mention i was one of those "in between NVC process change" folks so my AOS scan date was 8/15 and my IV scan date was 9/17

I too was an "in between NVC process change". AOS sent July 24, approved September 15. IV docs scanned 24 September.

Wish they would go back and look at my July scan date. That way I would be done by now! Now I have to wait for at least 60 days from 24 September. :-( Getting close now I hope! I also hope they realise the AOS and DS-260 are done and dusted.

AOS scanned July 25th and approved September 18th.

IV Scan date was Sept 2nd.

You got stick "in between process change" too. You would be done by now if they applied the new process to your case. I am in same boat.

Thanks! Of course, my AOS scan date was 8/7 and my IV scan date was 9/24. No checklists (and no lawyer)! My priority date is 1/28.

Similar situation for me...but no CC.... And priority date October 23, 2013. You are so lucky!!!!!!!
