If someones scanned date is 1,2 or three and little bit more lets write here togather and share experience. Maybe someone from these date got approved?! As i know 2 guys are approved and it mean guys we are near from CC. My AOS and IV package delivered with one envelope to nvc, so both packages got scanned togather at September 3. Come on NVC make us happy and lets make it done, all of us we are so done about waiting forever.

Yep! We started collected documents since he came here (although we've already started to slip behind)! Our 90 days before 2 year anniversary of POE is Memorial Day weekend 2016, soooooooo I anticipate we'll be busy!

Haha, glad you at least got somewhat of a head start! And hopefully not too busy as you'll have all the evidence gathered already ;)

How can I request EP? Like what reasons would be good for them to EP a case? I really need my husband here before I give birth. And after 7 months an expecting women can't travel. I'm 4 months now. Scan date Sept 24. Advise...

EP = Electronic Processing

Only certain countries are eligible for EP, the Dominican Republic not being one of them.

Did you mean expedite? If so, NVC has the same criteria as USCIS. Pregnancy is generally not a valid reason.

Hi Saylin,

My wife's case has been completed at NVC since October 14. However, I was placed into a new job title and a higher salary with the same employer in the beginning of October Do you recommend that when my wife goes for her interview, she should take a new AOS form with info. about my new job with the same employer and new salary figure. Our AOS was accepted at NVC without any checklist. Please advise.

Thank you.

hi all, my scan date was august 28th and I called NVC this week who informed me that my case was completed on October 23rd....I haven't seen my AOS fee change from paid to N/A though...now waiting to hear about an interview date!

also, I am moving house this week, and was wondering what steps I would need to follow to have my address amended...will this delay my processing?

Uh, it's not a recommendation, you HAVE to. If something changes, then you need to update them at the interview. If you don't, then you can be caught with misrepresentation which can lead to lifetime bans.

I am glad that I asked you that because I did ask this same question couple of days ago. Few individuals answered and said you don't need to since your AOS has already been accepted at NVC. Thanks for your help. My wife will be taking photocopy of previous AOS packet and new AOS packet with new information to the interview.

Thanks again.

Good Morning VJ,

Called NVC to see if any good word. What a bad matter guy answered. They stick to that 60 day line like its a recording. I have wonder if there is anything we can do to let her voices be heard. There's got to be a wait to get NVC on fire with higher so they get it going. Any cc?

Just got off the phone with NVC. Our case (Sep 3 scan date) is still under review. The guy I talked to said they are still reviewing Sep 2 scan dates. I asked when he would expect they would be on Sep 3 and all he could tell me is he thought by this week. To call back Monday. It sounds like they are going day by day.

Hi Saylin,

Yes sorry I did mean expedite. I was told same pregnancy not valid. So, what would be?

As I said, it's basically the same criteria as USCIS. If you go to USCIS, you can find the criteria on their website.

NVC merely goes over the package and makes sure everything is in order, they don't truly "accept" it. That's done at the consulate/embassy. NVC is basically a middle man collecting fees and documents and tries to make sure everything required has been collected before sending to the consulate/embassy.

Saylin happy to see your posts, you are so great helping me and all of us since as i know when i applied in 2013 and i am sure you were ready for everyone help here before too.

To you and to everyone: if you want to view where NVC is at for reviewing packages, then read the thread in here and look at my spreadsheet. That's going to give you the best estimate on where NVC is, not by calling NVC because most of the time they won't tell you what range of scan dates they are at.

Wow thanks... Good news my AOS is 9.3.14 and IV 10.6.14 but, the lady I spoke to said that they may review both at the same time. I hope so. Please keep in touch and let us know any good news.
