Just received my case number and have been advised my case has been mailed off to the embassy as of today! Very pleased coming from TSC that after you receive the NOA2 things really start moving quicker!

The total amount of days from the date I mailed in our K1 Visa application to the day my fiancé stepped foot into the USA:

1 year, 3 months and 8 days.

The amount of days from the date we mailed in our AOS to the date everything was approved (after 3 RFEs):

7 months & 5 days

Which makes our journey a total of:

2 years, 3 months, and 8 days

(L)"I remember the days I prayed for everything I have now." (L)

First USCIS notifies you when it has been sent to NVC (you can check your case status online), then you just call NVC and asked if they received it. Best times to call them is early in the morning.

Hi everyone! First, thanks so much for creating this group!

So we just got an email last night about the approval. I'm probably going to have this totally wrong and I do apologize in advance if anything sounds like an idiotic question but I just realized that I totally do not know what happens now.

I know I have to call to get our case# in about 2 weeks. He needs to get his police certificate, and do the medical, and we need to prepare the paperwork for the interview. So here are my questions:

1) At what point do we fill out DS 160? I started working on one but then thought maybe it's too soon?

2) Can he now schedule his medical or do we need to have our hard copy of NOA2 and case# in order to do that?

3)I know the consulate in Mumbai no longer sends out package 3, anyone know how to get it?

Thanks everyone and best of luck to all of you in this process :)
