Today we had an interview in Fairfax, VA. We arrived 15 minutes early and we started waiting after a while we got called by this lady and the minutes we both stood up the IO said she'll interview only me and in a while she'll come back to call my wife into her office.

at the end she told me I should hear something back within this week end. After 45 minutes of questioning me she said she was done with me and need to speak to my wife. I got back to the waiting room, after 10 minutes my wife is coming out. Based on our answers they were similar.

Is this normal ?
Is this a stoke interview ?
We're very nervous now ?
What should we expect ?

Looks like you were stoked from jump. Could have been random or you had certain things in your application which required her to give you a stokes.

From what i understand they have to inform you if it was a stoke. will they for sure going to have a decision by the end of the week or she was just saying ?
Is there anything we should do from our end ? or waiting is fine ?

A long seperated interview is Stokes, no need to informinform you. Pending decision's timeline varies, you could receive it anytime, someone has waited for months.

It was only me, for my wife it was more like 5 minutes

Does it matter if the IO told me they'll have an answer by this week end ?

Morocco is considered a hig fraud country, so if it helps, there is probably nothing about you in particular tthat got you singled out for Stokes.

This is a lesson to everybody: Since there is no need in a good loving marriage to keep secrets from each other, this is another good reason to not have any.

I think Morocco compared to countries like Nigeria, Philippines, Ghana etc is considered less fraudulent yet thousands of people from these countrIes go through the IntervIew wIth no hassle and Issues.Being separated from the jump is most likely an indication that something perculiar about this particular case that made the IO decide to go down that route.

It happens though and as long as she's convinced they're good, they should receive the GC. I agree with your no secrets point though.

I can assure you that this is a real marriage with no intent of fraud, we've been together for the last 4 years.

We have nothing to hide, if anything happen we will go through all the legal ways to fight this, honestly this is unfair we're going through legal ways and our neighbors have at least 12 ppl in that house here illegally all of them are working, driving and even sponsoring other illegals.

If we don't hear anything back from USCIS by this weekend as the IO said what should we do ?

While I have absolutely have no idea of the actual statistics at all, but reading this site at least, I have to agree with you. Number 1 country that comes up here in terms of a high fraudulent country is the Philippines...

Achraf: if you don't hear from them, you just have to wait. Seriously! Some people get the notice that they are approved, yet they have to wait a month for the actual approval and card production. At this stage it would be super early for you to do anything. You just have to wait. I know it's killing you....this whole immigration is kind of a killing issue even if there are no hassles whatsoever...still makes people nervous and hate waiting...Good luck! Don't give up hope!!!!

I can assure you that this is a real marriage with no intent of fraud, we've been together for the last 4 years.

Don't worry so much. I read many times when people went to the interview, their officer was rude, disrespectful. Those people were crying for hours after their interview and writing it up here that it seemed like if it was purely just up to the IO then he or she would've just said the foreign spouse to "go back home, we have enough creepy immigrants" and yet, at the end, they got their case approved. Just because your IO wasn't too satisfied with your application and hence felt the need for a separate interview, that doesn't mean he or she won't approve you. Hang in there! :) If that picture is your dog, then until you are waiting just vest your time into it, as it looks beautiful and I just want to cuddle up with it right away. :)
