Expedite request at NVC questions

hi peeps ok i have 2 questions or 3 i didnt count them anyway

1-when the NVC says that the expedite request is under review does that mean its under review with them before they forward it to overseas consulate, or it means its already forwarded to embassy and its under review there

2- if an expedite request was already denied can i file another one with extra documents ?

When it is Under Review, that means they forwarded the request to the embassy and the embassy made the determination on your case.

If your documents will only support the original expedite request, i'm not sure if that would change things. If your original request was reason for an expedite and they needed supporting documents, they would have replied to send them documents

But, as always. You ARE a paying customer and you have every right to re-send your request with more information. I don't know if the NVC will forwarded it again or reply back to you that they cannot, but its worth a try.

i sent another request a week ago with no documents just explaining my case and today i received email saying that the embassy has denied my request but just yesterday i emailed them new request supported with documents and today i got email saying its under review, so i dont know whats happening but i know i will get denied anyway so i am just trying to find whats going on with them

Same thing is gouing on with me!

First they denied, then now mine says under review too. I have been trying to call NVC for the past 30 minutes, I can't get through yet, I am sure auto-redial will make it through!

when u talk to nvc and u get an answer come back to here and inform us what the NVC said

I agree with others I sent in two expedites both with evidence the second with even more evidence and was denied a second time. You can send as many and when ever you want but just

remember each Embassy is different and it depends on supposedly how busy they are. I read one case that someone was given an expedite because she wanted her husband to be home for Christmas and others with urgent need from other Embassies are denied. So who knows it's a coin toss. But good luck to you I hope they give it to you.

Salaam alaikum and Hello,

The most important thing is to attach your STRONGEST evidence to your expedite request that you first send. The second is that because NVC doesn't have a webpage explaining how to do the expedite - or a format for the email - its a stumbling block for 99% of those who request an expedite - that they get denied or an email telling them to send in the correct information in the email.

The reason for an expedite must be extremely compelling specifically the following are listed on the USCIS website and also apply to the NVC:

• Severe financial loss to company or individual
  
• Extreme emergent situation
  
• Humanitarian situation
  
• Nonprofit status of requesting organization in furtherance of the cultural and social interests of the United States
  
• Department of Defense or National Interest Situation (Note: Request must come from official United States Government entity and state that delay will be detrimental to our Government)
  

Use this outline when you send in the request the next time -

State the main reason for your expedite request clearly in the first sentence here.

Then follow up with your reasoning to support your expedite request in the following paragraphs.

Attach any evidence or documentation to the email.
